The Superman Look: Shaping Superman

I agree, that is what Superman should look like, great find.

In fact I have a picture on my desktop of Superman and Supergirl....and Supergirl is not ripped like the man of steel is. Could you imagine a hardcore muscle version of Supergirl....blahk!!!

I mean even bigger than her.

Nice! Yeah no way should Supergirl be ripped, that would look strange, actually it would look really stupid, now that girl who plays her on Smallville that is nice.

Yes.

I think a lot of people over time who draw Superman and Supergirl just have not had sex.....

They put who they want to be on to paper making Superman super huge and Supergirl super slender and sexy....

That bar sounds like a good time, what team jersey do you wear? LOL! I remember those days of getting your drinking face on :woot: .

Yeah I will always workout as well, maybe not as much as now but I will do it 4 times a week just for health reasons.

I loved all the superheros when I was kid, Batman, Hulk, Iron Man, Superman, Spiderman, and I still do, the way that they looked, huge muscular bodyparts with small waists and 6 pack abs, they were just amazing, that is what I trained to look like, I still do to this day, I don't show it off normally but in the summer at the beach, it is fun to see the looks on peoples faces when I strip down.

I was ashamed then, and I'm ashamed now.....but I wore, and still wear, a Bengas jersey:o I remeber I caught eating someone else's food, I mean I drunk as hell, and these chicken wings and ranch had been sitting there for an hour, so I started munching....

I'm like you, for health reasons you pretty much need to work out, I'll probably want to get to the point where I go 30-40min, 5 days a week, still cutting out pop, and live a nice happy life.

As a kid, my three favorite, cause I've always had to have favorites for some reason, kinda like how you have best friends and then just friends, where Superman, Batman, and The Flash(Wally West). Spider-Man, Punisher, Iron Man, and Green Lantern were all my fringe favorites. I'm still amazed that someone a Punisher movie could be screwed up.....twice. And then I started watching Buffy and Angel, and I love the character of Angel, so he has to go in my favorites as well!

I don't show it off that much either, unless it's for a girl. I'm "modest" about it, unassuming:yay:

I had a good work out this morning, man. Decline Dumbbell Press, Side lateral Shoulder Raises, Bent Rows, Hammer Curls, and Skull Crushers, and a three mile run. I love upper body days.

You still wear that jersey :woot: :oldrazz: 1-4 bud, not good :cwink: It is ok, back in the day I have to admit and I can't really believe I am, I was a.....BILLS FAN :o , yeah get it out of your system, 0-4 in the Superbowl, but that all changed after what they did to Doug Flutie, I have never been so pi##ed at a team in my life, they went 11-5 that year with him and then in the playoffs you put in Rob "I suck" Johnson? After that I have been a New England fan, and well that has worked out pretty well so far.

Nice drunk story, free wings at the bar PRICELESS!

Yeah I liked all the superheros, just loved the stories, I have loved most of the films, but like everything some have not been very good IMO, Ghost Rider and Spiderman 3 this year, I hated GH, I think it is the worst one I have watched, SM3 all I can say is that after how good 2 was I was shocked at how bad this was, complete change in tone of the film, oh and the Punisher, well let's just say that I am very happy with what I have read about the new film, the cast and director are very good so hopefully we will get a good flick.

Yeah I don't show it off either, I am very modest also.......Unless girls are around then you can't keep my clothes on :cwink:

Sounds like you had a good workout, I can't believe you run 3 miles a day, that is crazy, I am doing Back/Traps/Biceps today, Legs/Abs tomorrow and then off Sunday - Can't wait.

I wore the jersey when they were 3-13 every year, and I'll wear it now lol. I'm no bandwagon like most Bengal fans, and once again, after a few years off, I find myself drowning tears in my old, kid sized Boomer Esiason jersey. The Bills did screw over Doug Flutie, and bad. The whole deal with Rob Johnson was a blunder and set the franchise back. Luck of the draw with the Patriots.

I was in a drunken stupour, eating the wings that I had been eye balling for an hour beforehand, and all of a sudden I heard a HEY, THOSE ARE MY WINGS.....I literally put them down, and in a subtle manner walked away.

I've always been drawn to the characters in superhero stories, the character depth, the emotions, the relationships, the friendships, overcoming the odds not only against evil but in life, those things have always won me over. Ghost Rider was horrible, and I called everything that happened in Spider-Man 3, and I don't mean that in a good way. It was a major letdown, it's like they just jumped ship on everything they had set up in the first two movies.

I don't know how, I don't know why, but running has always relaxed me and cleared my head. When I run, I work things, I come up with idea's, I get the endorphin rush going, I'm sad when I finish the three miles because I want to do more, but I know I'll burn myself out. I used to run obscene amounts, but I could never do it day in, day out, so three miles was like the compromise between me and my body.

My body has always responded well to working all the upper body muscles one day, and then lower body muscles the next. I hate lower body days, and thats tomorrow.....

That is good that you wear that jersey, stick with your team when they win or lose, that is a true fan, and a Boomer jersey, WOW you have been a fan for a while, I think they will be fine, Palmer is a top 5 QB, Johnson is a great WR but I have no idea what his deal is this year, they have a great coach, they will get it together. I am that way with my teams, NFL - New England, NHL - Toronto Maple Leafs, win or lose I am with them, no jumping ship. The only reason I am not still a Bills fan is because of what the did to Flutie, that was so bad, but I did luck out with New England, I just picked them because they played the Bills a lot and usually won.

I hated Ghost Rider as well, I liked the teaser and the trailer, but then the movie was one of the worst I have ever seen. Spiderman 3, well agian the teaser with the black suit and knowing that Venom would be in it made me go crazy, I was hoping that Harry would become the Goblin but they didn't give him much to do, but like you said something happened between the time they made #2 and #3, it is like they forgot what made it so good, way to much singing, dancing and childish humor, it was a waste of what was a great series of films.

If running makes you happy do it man, I hate running, but I play sports or hit the bike for my cardio, just did my workout for the day, all I have tomorrow is Legs/Abs, I hate doing them, they take so much out of me, but I know that I have a rest, eat myself sick day coming so it helps me get through.:woot:

Yuck!! She is too manly, that she has no chest like Power Girl does.

And who is she btw? I thought she look familiar for some reason. :oldrazz:

Yeah, no $hit she's to manly - I was only posting the image as a joke to Lexcorp who said he wanted to see a bigger girl than Power Girl - 'girl' being used in the loosest sense of the word in this case.

No idea who she is - just did a google image search on female bodybuilders and got her image. If she looks familiar to you, it's probably because she reminds you of some guy you know or something........ :woot:

there is no way that is a woman...she has a shadow.

I've no doubt that she started life as a woman but too much male growth hormone has obviously changed all that.

She now probably pees standing up and shaves her back twice a day...............
