The symbiote's weaknesses

Maybe the movie venom will take cues from Ultimate Venom. That Venom has no weaknesses like the 616 Venom but still electricity is effective against the suit.

I think that if Spidey shines a yellow light on the symbiote, its going to revert to its natural form: a pair of corduroys, one of those shiny Quiana shirts from the 70's made of polyester with the "realistic" print on it, and a pair of "desert" boots - you know, those tan suede ankle-boots guys used to wear back then.

The sonic weakness should definitely be in. Don't know about Fire weakness, maybe. Err, I don't want another burning building scene.

I like the sonic weakness, always thought it was a cool weakness to have as its not the easiest thing to pull off. I never knew venom was weak against fire, i just assumed he was rock hard against everythin except sonic blasts.

Well, he's a liquid like Alien parasite. I'd be surprised if he were immune to fire.

I think the symbiotes one weakness will be the craving for a jelly donut and a starbucks coffee after filming and all has wrapped up.

Keep the weaknesses in. We need something to show that venom isnt immortal.

Hmmmm I could see fire, but again that would lead to the burning building syndrome. Sonics would be cool, and they could throw in a reference to FF lol. Like:
Spidey: "Have you figured out a way to stop this thing?"

Dr.Conners: "It only seems to respond to intense heat, or high intensity sonic waves."

Spidey: (being a student)"Wait! Isn't there an experimental sonic emitter in the lab?"

Dr.Conners: "Yes, of course, it's on loan from Prof. Richards! I'll get it for you."

Spidey: "What a ridiculous coincidence that not only do you have a sonic gun on hand, but I knew exactly where it was!"

Dr.Conners: "Yes, yes it is! If I didn't know any better I would think you attended classes here, and the only student that has gone to see the emitter was Pete....... Ahhhhhh my arm, what's happening!"

Spidey: "Dr.Conners, what's wrong? You look a little green."
