Oh I think I had to James. Since I defended them constantly. So yeah.
Brainwashing people is correct and they are still trying to even in that LJ community. I quit DFN...I have send a copy of my resignation to a few people so they knew too. Yet they make it sound like they fired me. *rolls eyes*

I'd like to say that I'm surprised. Unfortunately their entire modus operandi is to make themselves out to be saints, and to paint everyone else as not being good enough for their high and mighty site.

That most people choose to escape from there doesn't seem to matter much. I think a psychologist would call them deluded.

DFN, K-Site, basically the same mentality of jagoffs with a different favorite female character. Forums wise that is, I think K-Site (Craig) does a great job with news and spoilers and DTS does have cool screen caps, but I'd like to virus bomb both of their message boards....

Hey Jana.. good to see you here.

I guess I'm a little torn. Just as there are certain forums at K-site I regularly read, there are also a few at DTTW (part of DFN). They are mostly Tom-related ones because I do truly enjoy sharing the Tommy love with other fans.

I have my own observations about the direction DFN seems to have headed. The thing I like about Sweet is that not only are they purely a Clana shipper site, they make no excuses about it, they say it loud and proud. Some of it is a bit much, even for me.. but I find the honesty refreshing.

I still peruse some of the Tom threads at DTTW, there are a lot of very devoted Tom fans there. Although in light of the recent thread on his new potential movie role, some of those fans are apparently.. conditional.

Meh. My favorite sites for SV info are still K-Site, TW.org, and Sweet. Oh.. and HERE. I think we get a nice cross-section of fans here at SHH that contribute things from all the various sources. And we're just the right size for a balance of information and socializing.

LJ is fun, but mostly just for play , not so much hard news. The SV Usenet group is a cesspool of idiots and arrogant jerks.. IMO, of course. Some of the foreign sites are great resources to have.

I'm just glad the internet is such a big wide place with niches for all of us.

I'm glad I got banned. They're all a bunch of idiots and there are more mods posting there than members in some threads...

It's annoying as all hell, actually, and I told Happiness that when she informed me about being banned.

If they'd make everyone welcome and would stop the mods cracking the whip on members going off-topic in threads (who the hell cares, really, besides the mods?), then they wouldn't need to have the mods posting so damn much to boost the post counts for threads...

Do you have a multi-player or a Zone 4. If you have a multi player you can pick it up off Amazon. I have a multi player they're the best thing when you're an Aussie.

I can remember, but does Amazon have its own Australian site. You still may be able to get Zone 4 from there.

Yeah, you gotta love all the freedom of speech that goes on around there. It cracks me up.

I like reading anything Tommy too. They are very devoted but show any like for another character on Smallville, and you'll get a chorus of haters. As we just found out.

I think we get a nice cross-section of fans here at SHH that contribute things from all the various sources. And we're just the right size for a balance of information and socializing.

That's what I like about it. There are no obvious ships, with people liking Smallville for lots of different reasons and not liking it for lots of different reasons, but able to put up a good argument most of the time. Good conversation arises from that.
