Thanks. Downloaded it just fine.

In answer to your original question, it does sound like her, the voice just sounds a little deeper than usual. So I dont know if they did that in audio editing afterwards.

Ya know for an episode day things around here have been pretty slow.

This particular episode (Tomb) sounds kinda... Oh, I dunno... meh. I'm not into psycho serial killer type flicks (American Psycho and Silence of the Lambs being two of a paltry few I thought were actually "good"), and the whole Saw-ish torture stuff just turns me off. Completely. I'd rather watch Spirit, Lucy and Ageless again if that's the angle they're taking with this ep LOL. Seriously. I don't do horror well. I'd rather watch a *bad* romcom. With Ashton Kutcher. And Madonna! :p

<- Loves driving home a point. ;)

I just think that this episode is so different that its hard to speculate what is actually going to happen. Its a very Chloecentric episode and I think we'll see some backstory for her.

I also think that we're going to see Lex try and get some information out of her about Clark. So that will be cool to watch.\

Oh, and I've also seen some speculation that she's gonna have a go at Lana about her losing faith in Clark.

All this stuff is good, particularly the last item. I hope Chloe clocks her upside the head for that. [g] LOL

You finished that already???? Holy Moly you're a fast reader! I keep trying to read it at night and I'm far too sleepy at that point. I wish I could find some uninterrupted quiet time during the day.

Yeah, I'm a fast reader but I have a long dinner break at my job at the TV station too....

I'm at a total loss for what to read tonight so in a way, it's a bad thing.

Clark was so cute in that book and Lois was at her snarky best. I loved the way Lex thought too...

It's like the characters were distilled down to their essences. It's a wonderful book.

I'm reading it now, I found it completely by accident, I don't have much time to read really, but I love what I've read so far.

so - how is this different from Smallville?
is it in any particular way similar?
:)

Well, it's sort of an elseworlds tale like Smallville and it also picks up in Smallville before Clark knows why he's so different.

However, that's where any real similarities end.

Lex and Lois live in New York City, instead of Metropolis, and the story starts in 1935 not 1989. The Kents in "It's Superman" also don't really have a clear idea of where Clark came from while in Smallville they know he came from a spaceship from the get go.

There's no meteor shower and no kryptonite at all.

Lex is more of a criminal mastermind/evil scientific genius instead of an evil business tycoon like in Smallville.

Clark does travel after leaving Smallville, like in the comics, but his reasons for doing that are not quite the same I don't think...

He is country bumpkin-ish at times and takes great joy in using some of abilities, unlike Smallville's Clark whom would never feel awed by visiting a big town and rarely has fun with his abilities.

I love that DeHaven's Clark does manage to have fun even if the weight of his responsibilities is sometimes extremely hard for him to bear. He also has an almost childlike joy when he first puts on the costume... Once Smallville's Clark does pull on the tights, I can't imagine him acting that way when wearing it not even for the first time.

Tnx for comparing..
[The good reviewers always use it in their work, btw.. ;)]

So - no mention of Pete,
no Lana at all?:(
(I've seen he has another fella - Willy something)..
How's the Clark - Lois dynamics? Same as in comics, I suppose?

The Langs living next door is mentioned at one point, but Lana does not make an appearance.

He becomes close friends with Willi Berg...

Yeah, pretty much. It does take them awhile before they meet... I don't think they meet until about 3/4's the way through the book but it's cute how head over heels Clark is over Lois and how quickly he becomes posessive and tries to protect her right away. This despite the fact she's dating someone else (and she can't really stand Clark) when they first meet.

I mean, he keeps her pencil (and hopes she doesn't notice) as a reminder of the day they first met... :D Cute.

OK, this is kinda goofy, and I wasn't sure where to post it, but...

I'm posting this from Rome (business trip) and the Google tie in ads automatically populate in Italian.

It's one of the funniest things I've read in that novel. lol

"It's Superman" has wonderful characterization. We're literally taken on a ride with fully written characters. I was surprised by that the most. I'm a big reader and this book really stands out. Definitely a must read.

Yep, I agree.

It's one of the best books I've read lately.

I lent it to my mother-in-law and I can't wait to get it back so I can reread it.

Random thought for the day.

There is no way on earth, that you can fold up a fitted sheet neatly. :)

I'm putting this here, it's just a rumor for now but still..

http://www.hollywoodnorthreport.com/article.php?Article=2608

Given such a stellar performance, it's no wonder that we're surprised to be hearing rumblings here in Vancouver that the series may be shorted episodes this season - that effectively the number of episodes may be intentionally reduced, with production wrapping in March as opposed to April, and possibly an increased number of episodes (perhaps 26) being filmed for a sixth season.

Though a reliable source has tipped us about this, alleging that it has something to do with the recent amalgamation of the WB Network with UPN, please be aware that we have not corroborated these assertions nor do we yet understand the rationale behind them if they turn out to be true. Rest assured that as of this posting we're treating it as rumor, and as soon as we have more substantial information we'll let you know.

That would put a whole spanner in the works with regards to their Season Arc. I wonder if they would do that?

Wow... are they planning for the sixth to be the last season, if this is true?

Or could Tom need some room in his sked for a movie and they're bending over backwards helping him out?
