Indeed, I did find it kind of odd, if not a bit ironic too. Besides all of the tax incentives and the experience established by the on-set crew as well as those from post production houses that a lot of CGI work was likely farmed out to, all of the wardrobe, props and sets are still Down Under. For a sequel (to the sequel :p ), it makes more sense (in my mind) to pick up where you left off rather than shipping everything of importance halfway around the world and then starting back from scratch with a new crew. And the really ironic part is that they were supposed to shoot the first film in Vancouver. Maybe that was just a rumor, I dunno, but it seems less of a rumor now considering.

Vancouver...

T'is interesting ..."news".

I didn't think it would come out quite this quickly...

Ah, yes... the ol' Vancouver switcheroo... was that real... or just a dream?

"A change of heart...a change of season"...?

Ah well... Hope springs eternal...

Or at least...in a funny shaped crystal...

;)

Hope ya'll are well...

Okay.. I forget, who has the Jack Mercy decoder ring this week?

I think Lana had it just before she got to the bridge in Reckoning.

Ummm....

Is Jack implying what I was dreaming about in an earlier post?!

I seriously think someone needs to find that decoder ring... ;) :p

What if we get it and it says "remember to drink your Ovaltine"

Ah Jack, yes indeedy. He loves to clang that spoon, doesn't he?

Here's my stab at the metaphors. Feel free to do your own analysis (or not LOL). This is just all in fun. For now...

was that real... or just a dream? (I think Warners shares something in common with Dallas - both of which are particularly good at undoing things when and if necessary.)
"A change of heart...a change of season"...? (Jeph Loeb wrote a great comic that maybe some folks here have read? Superman for all Seasons? Anybody? Buehler? SV is kinda based on that, y'know?)
Ah well... Hope springs eternal... (our axiom, doncha know? SFAS also starts with Spring.)
Or at least...in a funny shaped crystal... (Do you folks *really* need a decoder ring for that part?)

Jack, you've outdone yourself. Bravo. I do love these puzzles. :D

is Ovaltine this one of those 'things' men don't want to know about

ROTFLMFAO!

No... it's a chocolate flavored vitamin infused powdered drink mix. My mom used to make that instead of good ol' chocolate milk because it was supposed to be better for you but it tastes awful.

Here's some new pics of 007 himself, Daniel Craig:

And to think there's idiots protesting the guy.

Guesses on how far they rewind then Pat? If it's spring in SFAS then that's HS, which seems unlikely.

I shall call them idiots if I damn well please! :p

Anyone who has so much time on their hands that they'd create some protest whiny site clearly has their priorities out of whack.

an Army submarine?? uhhh, I know some things have changed in the almost 10 years that I've been out of the service but as far as I know, the Army doesnt have any submarines.... that's what the Navy is for...

I'm not saying this is right, but they do a lot of joint expeditions now. We're Navy and right now we're on an air base in the middle of nowhere. It could be special forces on a Marine sub.

LOL....I used to lifeguard at a state park and we would take turns guessing the nationality by the type of swimsuit and amount of body hair. Europeans almost always wore tiny speedos. We had to usher an entire family back into the changing areas once because they just stripped right next to the pool. Quite a cultural experience for a sixteen year old.

Gotta admit, the body is pretty smokin' in that picture. But I still don't see him as Bond. :p

I will still see the movie though. Knowing that he's a really good actor gives me hope that he'll win me over.

Okay, could someone please interpret this interpretation.

Please. :D

Hmmm the only part of the code that seemed obvious to me was the "change of seasons" one, meaning Smallville season. Are we certain yet that Smallville is going for the full 6 seasons? It would be nice to know for sure.
At least there is an FOS set in Canada now. Maybe that helps to have established sets. But I really don't quite get the big movie move thing...
I do enjoy Jack's cryptic input though :)
