I certainly agree, but it wasn't competing against Wally's past work. The real shame is TDK getting snubbed for that digital, overheated contrast garbage in Slumdog.

In terms of Inception's competition, I thought Black Swan (Libatique) deserved to win best cinematography.

The total number of frames in the source code has definitely gone up... It's reading 3448 pretty sure it was 3400 earlier

Well, we've officially got 80 days left, and from what we've got so far today, what I've deduced is that this final trailer is underwhelming, but on purpose. Essentially, it's Trailer #2 mixed with the Bane Prologue, with some random shots of JGL. So it's really almost everything we've seen so far.

My gut tells me that the marketing for this film is already over. With a little over 2 1/2 months left, every TV Spot we get will just feature more shots of Trailer #2, more stuff from the Bane Prologue, and MAYBE a cool Batwing shot or two. Of course, they're going to bombard our televisions with 30 TV Spots... but I'm convinced that WB is done giving us anything else to chew on until July 20.

Honestly, I'm not even THAT interested in this Final Trailer. I was going to see The Avengers at midnight just to see this bad boy, but what's the use? I'm more than happy to sit quietly for the next 80 days.

They give us literally NOTHING for almost a half a year, then they just go ahead and make us run around the world to collect 3,000 frames of a trailer where we've already seen 80% of it in the other trailers and prologue. If you want to keep this movie a secret, that's awesome. But don't even release a final trailer at all. Am I wrong?

Yes

No idea but I'd guess CG. Most of the shot is just a mirrored version of New York, check my post in the Trailer thread.

Yeah I saw that. Nice pick up

Wow, trailer screengrabs before the trailer itself. I think studios have hit a new low as far as the promotion goes. Ridiculous. I just want to see the trailer, this is getting crazy. Haha.

Maybe it's just not the film you envisioned it to be.

Underwhelming?? Are you for real? Am I seeing the same stills?

Are we looking at the same images? This trailer is 90% new material.

...Man, we're making a lot of judgements on a trailer we havent even heard audio for...or even seen a third of the frames for.

There is a lot of new stuff in the trailer, and you aren't taking into account the dialogue/music that will be used in the trailer. Those will really help define this trailer and help it stand out.

Agreed. I am baffled at how the cbm thats supposed to be the biggest of them all this year, has had the worst marketing imaginable for a film this year, only beaten out by Dredd, a film most people forgot about until I just mentioned it.

Christ man, could you at least wait until youve seen the damn thing? and how do you know what is being shown is mostly from trailer 2? we havent even unlocked half the images yet for Gods sake. Good lord some of you people just jump to conclusions. Seeing the images randomly is one thing, seeing them in order with dialogue and music is a whole different story, but Im sure you know this.

The images of Bruce climbing (or, rising) out of there create a wonderful parellel, an epic "book-end" if you will, with the scene of Bruce being rescued by his dad from the well in Begins.

Only this time, his father is not there to help him.

It's this orphanhood, and childhood innocence lost, that makes Batman's story so poignant, and compelling.

There's still lots of empty spots right? We need space for that Batcave and crossbow/maid Selina scenes!
