Or it could be that he's equally excited for both films but he's not allowed to talk about DKR yet so he's playing it cool.

He wasn't just talking about TDKR though, but Mad Max as well and franchise films in general. All he was saying is that with these large films the role your playing is basically just a type, a variable in a formula. He has a point. This isn't the first time he's played the villian in a big franchise film either. He played Shinzon in Star Trek Nemesis. He said himself that he takes these kind of things just as a stepping stone to other things.
I don't think it means it won't give it is all though, if hes out to make a name for himself he aims to impress.

We're still talking about this?

It's not a big deal :csad:.

Yeah it is kind of making a mountain out of a molehill i suppose. However I will admit when I first read his quotes it did strike me as a bit odd and made it seem like TDKR wasnt exactly high on his list of things he wouldve chosen to do, which after what Ledger did and what Nolan and bale have done with these films it just seemed a bit... wierd. Anyways Im sure hes going to do a fine job.

Yeah, these boards are becoming a source of annoyment. Its sorta like when the first official picture of Alfred was released and people started to complain that Alfred didn't have a mustach.

In Hardy's defense , his opinion's mean nothing to me as long as he does the role justice . Still think it was a bit snobbish but at least he didn'y throw a hissyfit at the crew on the set:awesome:

Sometimes I fear that the hype movie boards are worse than the IMDB boards with their wild theories or arguments.

You just saw this now!? :oldrazz:
Yep, Joker Blogs is awesome :woot: I'm definitely excited for series II. Another thing to look forward to in 2012!

I thought he was done; I didn't know he was actually going through with another series. :wow:

Oh no not the Hardy discussion again, now I remember why I don't frequent this thread that much these days.

Christian Bale Says Goodbye to the City of Angels

Posted Tuesday July 26, 2011 5:42 PM GMT

Catching a flight out of the city, Christian Bale was spotted at LAX airport in Los Angeles, California earlier today (July 26).

The "American Psycho" star kept it casual for his high-flying adventure, sporting an Adidas jogging suit and a scruffy 'do as he boarded the plane.

The travels come as Bales continues work on "The Dark Knight Rises," a movie in which another name has been added to the already star-studded cast - "Stargate SG-1" actor, Christopher Judge.

You can catch all the action, as well as fellow cast members Anne Hathaway and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, when the final "Batman" installment hits theaters on July 20, 2012.

Christian Bale and Joseph Gordon-Levitt arrive at LAX airport on Tuesday (July 26) to catch flights out of town from Los Angeles.

The Dark Knight Rises co-stars, 37 and 30, arrived at the airport separately - Joseph used his phone to record a conversation he had with a photographer before heading to his gate.

Earlier this month, the teaser trailer for The Dark Knight Rises was released. The film also stars Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Marion Cotillard, and Gary Oldman.

The film will be released on July 20, 2012 - and we can’t wait!!

Knight_Rise is the writer behind the Joker Blogs BTW
No, he's not. Knight_Rise was planning to reboot The Joker Blogs. He was never involved. The people who wrote it were two amateur filmmakers named Scott McClure and Andrew DeVary.
