She handled the script!? She handed it to Christian Bale!? :awesome:

I hope she savored that moment, and understands the infinite awesomeness of it.
Although.. it's her job, and who knows if she's a Batman fan, so I can't presume that she appreciates it quite as much as one of us could. Still, pretty badass.

My hands would have melted from the shear amount of awesomeness that was on that paper.

I would have made love to that paper. And I have no shame in saying that.

I would have taken it and made a mad dash for the exit. :woot:

I can only imagine I would have been bursting with soundless excitement to have it in my hands, unable to adequately express just how much awesome permeated the moment. Endless chills all the while, knowing what it is, this most powerful of works mine to hold - if only for a few moments before it is delivered to it's rightful destination.

Whoever kept saying it was the "lighting" in Bale's hair needs to eat a hockey puck.

I never doubted it being grey hair...

Wouldn't you read it, though? I mean, in the time before you deliver it, just sit down and read it? Screw spoilers, I need something to tide me over when we know absolutely nothing about this film plot wise.

I never doubted the grey either. Has there been any theories as to why he'd have grey hair? Is it safe to assume TDKR takes place over several years? Does Batman "retire", only to come back after hearing from Gordon how much Gotham needs Batman?

If we're going to get some sort of press conference (like what Nolan and Bale did with the mayor back in Chicago), it will probably be tomorrow since filming officially starts this Thursday. Given the extra secrecy this time around, it might not happen though.

There has been a theory, but most don't want to read about it. Can't pop the 'realism' cherry, after all. :cwink:

and scheduling. are they running behind like Gil said or have they gotten caught up? I can't imagine the difficulty of filming a winter scene in 100 degree weather though. all those people sweating their butts off in coats. or even worse, rubber suits.

I don't know, I have a couple ideas (no opinion on any over others);

- Bruce get's dipped (after we find out Ra's gets dipped) and the grey is "scars"

- Bruce ages some in this film (future scenes)

- stress, more so than age...

- [fill in with what Nolan is going to do, haha]

I may take a peek, I don't think i'd read it or run away with it though :oldrazz:
Also I am logically guessing that she didn't have much opportunity to read it, maybe there wasn't any time or maybe it was even sealed - for Bale's eyes only.

I would tear that sucker open and read as much as I could.

No clue if they're still behind schedule. But yeah the heat's going to be a big pain specially during the daytime shoot.

Or maybe Bale just has gray hair, and they darken it during make up?

The grey hair was a dye job. In the pics from Greenwich, you can see Bale's natural brown hair color at the roots of the gray area.

it's not just gray hair. it's the whole look. the beard. the length of the hair.

It's a look we saw he had both before departing London Heathrow Airport on May 3rd for India and returning back to LHR a week later or so. Indeedy.

Just made it back to Pittsburgh after a loonnngggg week in San Diego, back to ninja'ing!

And I can't wait to see if I run into anyone at work tomorrow.

:awesome: :awesome: :awesome: :awesome:

Wow a lot has happened since I haven't been on.

Gary's got some grey in that stache' :D

Tom's comments are trivial. Sending mixed signals in what he said. It's like he's saying he is doing it for the paycheck but he's trying to give the best performance he can give.

But he is right, blockbusters limit themselves in how much an actor can convey their characters. Nolan has got some great characters out of his blockbusters though. He makes smart blockbusters that give some room for the actor and their character.

Just my two cents.
