I know definitively about a new Bat Vehicle, I know what it is and I know it's in the film.

The descriptions in the other thread have not been what I've heard about, but it is possible those things are in the film as well.

How did you come across this ninja? Did they find you?

Ah, ok. Fair enough. Are these ninja's only attached to the Pittsburgh shoot, or are they involved with the whole shoot for the film altogether? No worries if you can't disclose that.

do they know anythih about the NYC shoot? I have a theory that many skyline and rooftop shots will be nYc. While car chases and action scenes will be in Pitts.

"When you're making a large-scale action film that has to showcase the vitality and size of a large American city but also involves a certain amount of disruption to that city in order to make the action credible on screen" there needs to be a lot of cooperation from that city, Nolan said.


Nolan said he was drawn to Pittsburgh's architecture.


"It's a very beautiful city on a very impressive scale and that hasn't lost its human scale," Nolan said. "That is very impressive and very hard to find."


One of the few production details to leak out of the film, that fake snow will fly Downtown to simulate winter in Gotham City, was mentioned by Nolan.


"I hope you'll all feel a tiny bit cooler," he said.

Well, it's great that we have confirmation about a new vehicle at least, I hope they intend to start releasing official shots since the spy pics won't give any vehicles or any characters justice.....

winter in Gotham, was one of the three things I wanted in this film.

The other being a grave scene and Black Mask.

Looks like 2/3 is pretty damn good...

2/3 are in Pittsburgh only, the third I don't know about that one appears randomly never with new information but always validates or invalidates the other's information.

I want to tell you more obviously but, I don't want to lose anything since the shooting is just beginning

I wish I knew more about the NYC as I live NYC but, as far as I know this was always a rumor.

The shots you speak of sound familiar but, I recall hearing those shots were test shots just to see how the city would look like with snow on the ground; just to see how Snow in Gotham would look. I'm not sure if that means they plan on using those shots in the film or just a reference sort of thing.

The only thing I've heard about NYC otherwise was that the NYSE was the primary place they wanted to shoot. If that's the case you can forget about any thing really interesting in spy shoots. It's very hard to get in there.

Personally I think NYC has the most beautiful court district in the country, it's VERY Gotham-esque a perfect blend of Burton's sort of Gothic Ideal and Nolan's modern take on it.

I hope they shoot there

Bale was there and he did talk. I'm sure there will be clips from the press conference on the 6 o'clock news tonight. The clips may start showing up online even sooner.
