Urgh, Spawn is so awful. I'll never understand why people care about that. And I was there for when he was big, too. Awful.

If there's a guest character, you know it's going to a MK character like Scorpion was in the first Injustice. They'll probably just do him again or do Sub-Zero. Watchmen characters wouldn't really be guests exactly, since they are owned by DC proper, but I get what people meant there. I'd personally really just have the real characters the Watchmen ones are based of myself: The Question instead of Rorschach, Captain Atom instead of Dr. Manhattan, etc. They could have Watchmen-esque alts.

Didn't Boon say that no character would ever be DLC twice?

Though considering the hard on he has for Scorpion, I can actually see him making an exception for him. I just think putting in MK characters whom we've already seen in many other games that have similar mechanics will be uninspiring and lazy choices.

They would, I agree, but MK is also more popular than ever. As lazy and uninspired as they are, they are also very safe choices. They're also characters already owned by WB so there's less hassle there in licensing and whatnot.

Boon loves Subs as much as Scorpion though or at least those two are his favorites, so if an MK character is almost a sure thing then I would assume Subs would pretty much be a given this time.

I kinda enjoyed the costumes from the first game. They looked overdesigned and weird... in a really cool way.

What new characters do we want to see?

Yeah.. Spawn is basically the 90's as a character.. Black, leather, spikes, chains and angst all rolled into one. I legit think he's one of the worst things ever.

I'd love to have Blue Beetle in this.

“In Injustice 2, we are introducing new features that will change the way fans play fighting games,” said Ed Boon, Creative Director, NetherRealm Studios. “We’re always interested in pushing the genre forward and allowing players to customize and level-up their favorite DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains is a significant leap.”

“Expanding the DC Universe in games continues to be one of our top priorities, and Injustice 2 showcases amazing gameplay and an original story to bring the characters to life for players,” said David Haddad, President, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. “NetherRealm Studios is offering fans an experience of customizing and battling with DC’s iconic characters in an entirely new way.”

Injustice 2 offers the latest DC fighting game experience that expands on the previous title’s larger-than-life showdowns. Every battle defines you in a game where players personalize iconic DC characters with unique and powerful gear earned throughout the game. For the first time gamers can take control of how their characters look, fight and develop across a variety of game modes.

Injustice 2 continues the epic cinematic story introduced in Injustice: Gods Among Us as Batman and his allies work towards putting the pieces of society back together while struggling against those who want to restore Superman’s regime. In the midst of the chaos, a new threat appears that will put Earth’s existence at risk. Players can play from the biggest DC roster ever offered in a fighting game, from classic fan favorites such as Batman, Superman, Supergirl and Aquaman, to astonishing new villains like Atrocitus and Gorilla Grodd. Battles will take place across arenas that have evolved in scale and span across iconic locations such as Metropolis, Gotham City and Atlantis.

To celebrate the announcement of Injustice 2, fans who have downloaded the hugely successful Injustice: Gods Among Us mobile game can unlock the Injustice 2 versions of Superman and Aquaman through the in-game Challenge Modes. Released in 2013 and developed from the ground up by NetherRealm Studios, the Injustice: Gods Among Us mobile game is available as a free download on the App Store and Google Play.

Yay
The game description sounds good, but those costumes are a bit much. Hopefully we can customize them into something different.

That's what I'm guessing since Batman had two different variations of armor in the trailer, the Kryptonite-looking one and the Batman Beyond-ish armor.

Blue Beetle, Booster Gold, ALL OF THE GL's (hopefully ION), Garth, Kid Flash hell all of the Titans, Etrigan and a few others are additions I'd love.

Who's voice is that? Sounds like a subdued Michael Ironside...

EDIT: That's BRYAN CRANSTON!

Sounded a lot like him. Perhaps voicing Supes or Batman? Either way, I'm all for Cranston being involved.

Are those already out?

I hope they get Melissa Benoist and Grant Gustin to do the voice for supergirl and the flash like they did with Green Arrow with Stephen Amell

Only if they stick to DLC skins. I'd rather have professional voice actors handle it like last time.

Not sure if i like that armor idea, but have to wait and see how they affect the gameplay. Hopefully they aren't there just to sell dlc or some gimmick that becomes old quickly. Maybe the armor system is similar to MK X variations?

Looks like a lot of possibilties with that armor thing. We'll see how it works.

Yeah I'm gonna wait for more info and stuff before jumping all over the armors. Wait for more details and how they're used or utilized etc.
