I love the joker...but damn it, was it really necessary to have him in there?
I know he is the not secret, secret weapon of DC propertys...but cant we have one thing without him?

Anyway, i quite like his look...you never go wrong with a more "traditional" look, but i do like it once in a while when he looks a bit more "chaotic".

Im wondering if this is really more like a "return of the joker" type of story with this not being his body and all.

This isnt like its Arkham and he's done to death and takes over the plot. Its a fighter with a roster of almost 40 characters. I dont see a problem with him being one of those fighters

Premiere skins aside, is it known if we can expect traditional skin/costume packs as DLC? It's beginning to look like the gear system may have taken the place of actual alternate costumes and will be the only way to customize your character's look.

It sure seems that way. Glad I'm getting the ultimate edition, which comes with a gear shader and so I should be able to have Grey & Black, Grey & Blue and All Black gear

Not mad Starfire is a fantastic addition and Red Hood will be fun to customize. I was just hoping that Sub-Zero would be the only guest character we get buy I spy Raiden (and Black Manta!) at the end of the trailer as well. I know a lot of people are clamoring for Spawn but I'd rather have a character along the lines of Etrigan as DLC than ol' Al Simmons.

Sigh... not happy about the MK guest characters at all. Those 2 spots could have gone to two other DC fan favorites.

Can only really make out Raiden and Black Manta. However, NRS has been known to troll when it comes to DLC characters. I remember when they were teasing MKX Kombat Pack 2 and one of the silhouettes looked like Baraka and it turned out to be the Xenomorph/Tarkatan hybrid.

Starfire looks amazing. Her face is beautiful. Like "I don't know you, what's your name girl?" beautiful.

For what it's worth there's only a few characters that I REALLY want.

John Constantine, Zatanna, Vixen, and a toss up between Hellboy and Entrigan.

It does seem like Fighter Pack 1 is going to be available with the Ultimate Pack at launch. Granted, I am picking up the Ultimate Edition I am still miffed by this practice by publishers and WB Games is notorious for this. Ugh.

it's really ****ed up and blatantly anti-consumer. People just eat this **** up and it boggles my mind. I get that folks are excited to see their favorite character's inclusion in the game, but they put her behind an additional paywall on top of the 60 bucks you're paying.

but yeah, I'll miss Raven - but I gained Kara and Kori, so I guess that's a good trade off.....lol.

and the far right could still be Raven if they modeled her off her recent miniseries look:

that far right silhouette sort of looks like that, but I'm not sure how that look would fit with the rest of the game's style and visuals ( armor/gear look ).

That's 3 out of 9 characters. Look I don't agree with shady business practices, but video game development ain't cheap. If 6 of those 9 are being worked on AFTER the game went gold then I don't see the issue. And WBG seems to be trying. They could have pulled a *****-move and charged money for armor sets. Instead they opted for a No Pay 2 Win policy, and are only making money off of idiots who want to spend on comestic crap.

Charging for DLC characters and premiere skins is acceptable IMO. Especially if they extend the games life by supporting multiplayer and multiverse modes with new content. In a perfect world every publisher would be like CDPR, but this world ain't perfect.
