Mumm'ra's chamber looks like it has technology rather than the original version. I kind of like it if this world is set on a post-apocalyptic Earth.

The thunder-tank does look cool.

The re-boot Masters of the Universe was a let down for me hope this one doesn't dissapoint.

umm yeah but that is all kinds of wrong, the toyline may have been a huge flop but the show far out weighed the classic, sadly we never got to see the epic 3 series and new comic

I heard bits and pieces about it. I like the concept a lot. Should be interesting to see Lion-O recast as a much younger, less perfect leader who's still learning the ropes. The animation style looks good, too.

is he gonna be younger? i know the lion-o from the old show was also young on thundarra but aged when he came to earth because his capsule was damaged. from the trailer i only saw the young lion-o, then he sounded more older when saying thundercatshoooo. were they on earth already or was that thundara?

They are one in the same in the new series. So he will be younger than in the original but they said that we would get to see him grow throughout the show.

Yeah, I remember he was young in the old show too. But he instantly aged to adulthood in that one. Last I heard, Lion-O's youth and inexperience were going to be major plot elements this time around, as Primal Slayer indicated.

So we finally have a date and its much earlier than I thought it would be. This looks like an interesting year for animation. there's been quite a few shows come since late last year and we have a few more to come!

IGN`s guide to the new series, plenty of new interesting news:

1) Tygra is Lion-O`s adopted big brother and he is not happy that Lion-O is handed the crown, Tygra feels that he is more deserving and more qualified to be King.

2) The entire Kingdom of Thundera agrees with Tygra and is weary of Lion-O.

3) There will be a love triangle between Lion-O/Cheetara/Tygra.

4) Panthro is the best fighter of the group followed by Cheetara followed by Tygra. Lion-O is the worst fighter of the group.

5) Mumm-ra will be brought on slowly and mysteriously

And, funny, I was thinking that Tygra was actually Cheetara for some reason. So, I was hooked into thinking he'd be seeing some gender bending in her wanting to be King, only to be disappointed

No. Tygra was simply one of his mentors. Plus the age difference in the original was further. But that was a nice read about what they plan on doing with everyone. Though I wonder how far they will go with the thundertwins since nothing was said about them.

It looks like the kingdom of Thundera was very isolated from the rest of the world and thus only wanted to rely on things they knew best and didnt want any outside influence. So once it gets destroyed and they are forced out into the real world they will encounter it. But Panthro having already seen outside the gates will know enough about it to get them through.
