Just a little side thing...but I felt a little twinge of pain seeing the cats head on the Thundercats fortress break in half and fall to the ground. Probably because that symbol was so dominant in the original series I watched as a kid.

Good, strong effect for me.

I thought of the tail loss at puberty but dismissed the idea thinking is was a bit stupid
I will go with the two thunderans cats types.

Left/right handed analogy isn't very good since all humans have the same morphology ( head, 2 arms, 2 legs, 5 fingers by hand/feet etc ) not like the cat ( tail / tailess ) but I get your idea.

Really ? Is that your explanation or was it told in the previous episodes or does it come from the original show ? I didn't even know / realized there was two types of cats.

PS : by thundercat I meant the cat race.

I couldve sworn I read it in a interview somewhere.

New clips online that look awesome. Next episode shows more of Grune and Panthro's backstory. And Panthro and Lion-O not really getting along. Drama and conflict in Thundercats, I love it!

Better hot cat lady Cheetara instead of Snarf . And if that makes a furry, so be it.

But I like it. I like that this is sort of a motley crue, ragtag group. They are dysfunctional and really just getting by the skin of their teeth. Lion-O and Tygra or brothers, so naturally they don't get along. Panthro is the seasoned soldier and veteran, and he's not going to take any gruff like the old Panthro. Especially from a cub in over his head like Lion-O. And then you also have the kittens who are cunning but also mischievous, and who knows how truly loyal they will be when push comes to shove?

They were all confirmed. Even the Robear-berbils will be in it.

I wonder if we will ever see Captain Shiner, The Demolisher or Ratar-O will ever make appearances

Perhaps Monkian and Jackalman will be leaders of their own clan (like how Slithe is the leader of the reptilians) seen as they haven't being introduced as a 'Mutant' group together..

I'd like to see Monkian portrayed a little more like in the later comics than how he was in the cartoon. I don't know how far they will be able to push it but he was portrayed a lot more animalistic compared to the cartoon.

Now that we have another look at Mumm-Ra, I'm wondering if he's supposed to be an undead member of one of the established Third Earth races. He could be an undead Thunderan.

Failing that, he could be one of the mysterious hairless apes that the Cats have yet to meet.
