Now this is from TMZ so take it as it is

We've learned Jay's 10:00 PM show will go on hiatus February 1. After the Olympics, Jay will take back his 11:30 PM time slot. What has not been decided -- whether Jay's show will be a half hour, followed by Conan, or whether Jay's show will be an hour and NBC says sayonara to Mr. O'Brien.

We're told Jay and Conan have both been told of the changes. As for Jay, interestingly, he'll get what he always wanted -- his 11:30 PM time slot.

Interesting to see what happens here. The timeline may be off, it could be late Feb or NBC changes things in June. I don't think they have enough shows to fill the five hours Jay's move would open up. Maybe they shouldn't have canceled Southland. And such a shame that all the staff/families of Late Night had to move across the country only to be out of jobs in one year.

Conan could move to Fox or perhaps cable and create/write/produce (maybe star?) in a comedy. Plus the huge penalty fee NBC will have to pay Conan since he had a two year contract.

This could mean no more Conan. Or at the very least a shortened version of both shows. ugggh
