It's Harry's girlfriend Lily.
She's always with her father. and she conviently wasn't in asm 559 when menace attacked him.
Menace obviously has Goblin connections. So does Harry, whom she dates.

Plus harry didn't seem too worried when peter brought up the possibility of her being kidnapped.

but all evidence of menace thus far point to her.

It's a bit early to tell, but that could be a possibility. If her motive was to make her father run for office. Menace looked a bit iffy when the candidate he/she kidnapped died.

Though that would bring in the question of how. I mean does she know that Harry was the Green Goblin for some reason? That might have given her the means to carry out her plan.

True. but you can't really see this person's figure. with that cloth thing it wears. and the way it's constantly hunched over.
I thought more about it and it could be Harry also though...

I mean Harry even tried impressing her by funding her dad's campaign with alot of money.
why not see it through?
your right it's too early to tell for sure. but with the obvious Goblin connections its either one.
Something's not right with Harry thats for sure.

and I just found it really weird that she conviently wasn't there. she always was backing her dad up any other time.

Care is such a.....strong word. lol

I actually don't like any of this characters concept. he/she is just uninteresting....since its pretty much a dumbed down version of the goblin. but I wanted to see what others thought about this theory I formed a while ago.....

Theory does have merit. But with this being a rehash of the Hobgoblin mystery, and the character just comes off with nothing special about him it seems the only thing he has going for him is the "Who is he?" factor.

QFT I like mysteries.

Even if this guy was the quixotic hypno-hustler....I'd still be drawn in by the mystery. I don't buy BND. however. I read it from a friend who buys it and likes it.

Correct sir. The way her father edged on menace is a bit questionable. it all seemed like a publicity stunt....than again that is most of Bob Gale's writing anyways... lol.

Agreed there really is nothing special about the character other than the "I wonder who it could be" card. It reminds me more of the original Green Goblin story before we knew that he was Norman Osborn more than the Hobgoblin mystery though.

I actually think Menace is pretty cool, well from a visual standpoint at least.

Plus I'm interested in his/her motivations. Obviously if it is Lily that would be preferable to Harry.

Need to catch up with what's going on in ASM, not read the last few issues.
