The Trump Thread!!!

Why on earth is the person keeping Trump accountable for his misogyny getting the backlash?

Because there are far too many morons in this world.

Although, in regards to Megyn Kelly, this seems pretty on point...

Bristol Palin is attacking Fox now. Fox cant control the monsters they created

Oh and before we get off the topic of Fox News and the fact that they are “oh-so-shocked” at the supposed sexism of Donald Trump… here’s a little perspective.

Back in 2010, Chris Wallace joked about having my Mom sit on his lap during an interview. In 2011, Roger Ailes said, “I hired Sarah Palin because she was hot and got ratings.”

Fox and Erickson need to get off their high horse on how outraged they are NOW about sexism and decency.]

Since he got into the race I've been saying Donald Trump is not serious about being President. He's someone in the later stages of his life, has all of this money and is bored out of his mind. The Apprentice ran its course so he needs a new release. Trump is a great self-promoter and he knows reality TV has taken over the minds of the uninformed cretins of America (this includes the media) and he's bringing that style to politics. This is his reality TV show and he's the star. He knows in this day and age you don't seek the Republican party nomination by displaying intellect and knowledge. That's been proven time and time again and it alienates the base. You appeal to the lowest common denominator. You talk tough and bluster. You copy the Kardashian way and say or do anything to keep all eyes on you. When someone asks you a tough question you answer in the vaguest way possible. Trump, how are you going to handle illegal immigration? "Build a wall". The dullard supporters eat that stuff up. Donald knows this type of psychology exists in the Republican party and he's exploiting it big time. If he actually did somehow win the Republican nomination I wouldn't be surprised if he pulled the greatest troll move of all-time and said something like "I can't believe you morons actually voted me to lead your party"

I just can't figure out yet if he was hired by the Republicans to make their d**k-wavingly crazy ideas seem more palatable

or by Democrats to hand them the general election on a platter

Trump's surge in the polls doesn't mean jack ****. The RNC isn't going to give him the nomination and if he runs as an Independent he'll secure the election for the Democrats. Bring on the crazy if it means keeping any of the Republicans out of the presidency. Though, admittedly, Hilary Clinton isn't much better. BERNIE SANDERS 2015!

This just in. Trump surges in the polls again. We could have a political Godzilla, stomping on the media or anyone who gets in his way.

Being honest, its early for you to be getting excited. To answer your question from a few pages back, I was initially supporting Trump. I think someone with his approach to business would be good for us overseas when it comes to bargaining and getting the upper hand in whatever deals we're making. But he bombed pretty hard in the debate. He never answered any of the questions in a way that could be considered remotely satisfactory. His answers amounted to, "Yes, I ___." His responses to Megyn Kelly's questions were pretty horrid.

This is reminding me way too much of peoples' attitudes in 2000. Anyone that honestly think there is no real difference between the two parties slept through the first 8 years of this century. I am not a huge fan of Clinton but yes, she is much better than any viable alternative on the GOP side especially if you are a Sanders supporter.

Trump's continuing popularity is absurd in general. The guy can't give you any specifics as to how he plans to do any of what he talks about.

Reminds me of Adolf Hitler. Brilliant strategy really. Avoid specifics, then you can capitalize on other people's ideas as they come along.

Man, I'd love if Trump got all the way to the final days before the vote and then just called a press conference and said "Just kidding. Man this was fun. See you guys next time.", trolling everybody.

Pretty much, but with the added benefit that he doesnt care who he pisses off including the RNC so he can tell the gullible whatever they want to hear regardless of who it pisses off in Washington.

And I thought this was interesting:

Donald Trump has spent years courting Hillary and other Dems

Donald Trump jumped into the crowded and rowdy Republican presidential field on Tuesday, but the business magnate has astutely played both sides of the aisle for years, and has been especially cozy — financially and personally — with Hillary Clinton.

Clinton, the Democratic front-runner and former New York senator who had some say over policy that could have impacted Trump’s vast business dealings, received donations from both him and son Donald Trump Jr. on separate occasions in 2002, 2005, 2006 and 2007, according to state and federal disclosure records.

Trump has also been generous with the Clinton Foundation, donating at least $100,000, according to the non-profit.

In another sign of their closeness, Clinton attended Trump’s 2005 wedding to current wife Melania Knauss at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida, along with the likes of Katie Couric, Billy Joel and then-“American Idol” judge Simon Cowell. (According to People, Clinton had front-pew seating. Though Bill missed the ceremony itself, he did show up to the reception.)

She wasn’t the only Democratic beneficiary of Trump’s wealth. Trump donated $5,000 to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and $20,000 to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in the 2006 cycle, effectively buoying the election prospects of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, respectively.
Just $1,000 of Trump’s money in the 2006 cycle went to the National Republican Senatorial Committee.
The last time Trump considered a White House run in 2011, reporters seized upon the fact that he has given most of his money to Democrats and Democratic causes, according to records.

Trump defended his donations to New York Democrats in an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity that April, proclaiming that in the state, “everyone is Democratic” and implying that to donate otherwise would be waste of his money.

“So, what am I going to do, contribute to Republicans? Am I going to contribute to, I mean, one thing I’m not stupid. Am I going to contribute to a Republican for my whole life when they get, they run against some Democrat. And the most they can get is one percent of the vote,” he said, noting his “good relationship” with and donations to Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.). Trump last donated to Schumer directly in 2010, though he had made donations ranging from $250 to $2,000 since 1996.

“I mean, I’ve contributed to Schumer, I contribute — I’ve known Schumer for many, many years. And I have a good relationship with him. The fact is, that I think it is time maybe that we all do get along,” he told Hannity.
Beginning with the 2012 cycle, however, financial disclosures show that Trump has donated exclusively to Republican candidates and groups.

This is probably Trump's Foreign Policy

Trump would probably call this foreign leader a fat pig loser:

Angela-Merkel.jpg

And these two "cowards and pathetic losers"

david_cameron_0.jpg

Francois-Hollande.jpg

And this one "The Next Hitler" in which this would be the leader's facial reaction:

The other Republican candidates would probably at least be cordial with the first three.

He has to be trolling now to see what he can say without dropping in the polls

Trump Defends Planned Parenthood, Responds to GOP Critics on Hannity

Hannity threw a few softballs at Trump, but also pressed him a little on specific policy proposals for Obamacare, the economy, and even Planned Parenthood.

And Trump kind of surprised Hannity by defending them, saying that abortion is only a “fairly small part of what they do” and overall they do a great service for women, so “we have to look at the positive also for Planned Parenthood.”

Well Hell has frozen over. I actually agree with Trump about something.
