Well.....that'll make him quite popular here in the UK too, my respect for Obama went up when it leaked he thought Cameron was a political lightweight. :o

Cameron is bland to the point of being inoffensive.

It would be hilarious to see Boris Johnson and Trump together.

Trump Booted From Conservative Forum After Latest Remarks

Despite Thursday night's debate having solidified Donald Trump's standing as a GOP frontrunner, he's not backing off of a feud with Fox News host and debate moderator Megyn Kelly, who he calls a "lightweight" who is "highly overrated."

And this:

Trump's Twitter said:
Donald J. Trump ‏@realDonaldTrump
"@timjcam: @megynkelly @FrankLuntz @realDonaldTrump Fox viewers give low marks to bimbo @MegynKelly will consider other programs!"
But wait. There's more ...

In an interview with CNN's Don Lemon, Trump described his perception of the debate, saying Kelly "gets out and she starts asking me all sorts of ridiculous questions.

"You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes. Blood coming out of her — wherever."

No doubt it was the "— wherever" that prompted this backlash from fellow GOP presidential contender

Carly Fiorina:

Mr. Trump: There. Is. No. Excuse.

In a late night entry on the RedState blog, Erick Erickson disinvited Trump to the RedState Gathering, saying he admired the GOP candidate "for being a blunt talker" but that "there are even lines that blunt talkers and unprofessional politicians should not cross."

"Decency is one of those lines," he wrote, adding that Trump's comment about Megyn Kelly on CNN "is a bridge too far for me."

As The New York Times notes: "Mr. Trump was to have been the final speaker at the RedState Gathering, appearing at a 'tailgate party' at the Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta on Saturday night."

Hours later (apparently too late to get him re-invited to the forum), Trump sought to clarify his remark:

Trump's Twitter said:

Re Megyn Kelly quote: "you could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever" (NOSE). Just got on w/thought

Later, Trump's campaign released a rambling statement in which he repeated that he had meant "nose" and stated: "Only a deviant would think anything else."

He pointed out that Erick Erickson had had to retract or apologize for some over-the-top statements of his own in the past.

"Also, not only is Erick a total loser, he has a history of supporting establishment losers in failed campaigns so it is an honor to be uninvited from this event," Trump's campaign statement read.

In an interview with NPR's Weekend Edition Saturday, Erickson acknowledged some past indiscreet comments.

"I am a sinner like everyone else and have said some really dumb, stupid things in my life and had to apologize for them," Erickson told host Linda Wertheimer.

"Donald Trump not only didn't apologize — his campaign, when I called them last night — wouldn't even acknowledge that Donald Trump had said what he'd said," Erickson said. "They didn't want to acknowledge it. Then, when I asked them if they'd clarify, they only wanted to do a private clarification to me that he had said 'whatever,' not 'wherever.'"

"I think he confuses political correctness and common decency," he said of Trump. "It's not common decency to accuse a reporter of being, well, on her menstrual cycle because she asked him a tough question."

Its safe to say that Hell will freeze over before the RNC chooses him as their candidate. Even if he wins every primary they arent going to choose him.

Erick Erickson is a hypocritical piece of s***, but this is hilarious.

As someone on Twitter put it.... Trump has actually had someone advising him this whole time?

This whole thing is hilarious. The dichotomy of the party is being dragged into the spotlight for all to see. On one hand you have the voting base. They love Trump, he's outspoken with no filter. He's like one of them. (if they had money) A total egomaniac who is never wrong nor 2nd best. Thin skinned and Narcissistic. Could you imagine him in a diplomatic talk with N Korea's Dictator? They're so alike it would result in a nuclear war in 5 minutes.
The other hand you have the ruling party elites and the money. They can't do this without the support of the voters. And they can't trust Trump to do what they say.
And he's threatening to burn all their chances by going 3rd party.
It's glorious.

What's next? ISIS putting out a message to the nerd community that we're too mean to El Mayimbe? :o

Well if that isn't telling about what kinds of people Trump appeals to.

Presidential nominee Donald Trump is associating himself with Gamer Gate on social media. Jesus Christ. This is a real sentence that I just typed.

The world is becoming a parody of itself.

The sheer number of uneducated **** kicking rubes in this country cheering this clown on is what's most troubling.

So true. And the debate made me really think of how much the GOP is a creation of our nation's own citizens. Does anyone really think ALL of the members really give a **** about Christianity, to the extent that they have speeches about how "God spoke to them," or some variation of that, and that all those speeches are genuine? No. They are pandering so hard to a very particular audience that it hurts to anyone on the outside looking in. They are a reflection of a lot of America, and a lot of America really does WANT those types of candidates, the Cruz and Huckabee types and the Trumps.

I'd like to believe some of his support is from Democrats trolling polling services but with the bat**** craziness of the far right in recent years I feel like I'm being mildly optimistic. I'm not much for believing conspiracy theories but I could almost buy the "Trump is an elaborate Clinton plant" idea because it's just so hard for me to believe someone could sincerely spout out the things Trump says in a national campaign on the scale he has without any concern about the backlash that would result from what he says. But then I'm sure a lot of that could be chalked up to him having a massive ego and enough people willing to buy into the crap that he spews.

I will quote Aries Spears from a radio talk show last month. "Donald Trump becoming president would be great for comedians."

I want to be hopeful and say that 90% of the population knows that Trump will never ever be the GOP nominee, but this whole run is comedy gold. It is simply entertainment that Trump has even gotten to the point where he legitimately has a higher chance than some of the more "legitimate" nominees.

I don't think Trump will ever be GOP nominee, but many other voters want him to stay in the race because he is frustrating the establishment in a way unseen since Ross Perot. Trump tapped into a disappointment with GOP leadership pandering to voters but then selling out to lobbyists at first opportunity. The country moved far to left and towards large special interests as opposed to populist and nationalist interests that large part of electorate feels hopeless and outraged. They line up behind Trump because he is best positioned to send message. They are willing to ignore the media clip slams about Kelly and McCain because ultimately none of that stuff even matters in long term.

The irony is that Trump's narcissism and money positions him least likely to be bought out by lobbyists and that frightens the establishment. Jeb Bush needs to raise money and will suck up to military industrial complex like his father and brother. Marco Rubio can be bought. Ted Cruz can be bought (and he's pretty much a stealth Dick Cheney as far as I can see).
Trump is so rich he doesn't need to suck up to lobbyists. He can generate publicity all by himself, he doesn't need some convention or Koch brothers. He's so arrogant that he would love to humiliate anyone who tried to lobby him away from his objectives. Trump has most to prove, which is why people are excited about him.

The supporters don't care that he disrespected McCain because McCain lost the election, has sold out and flip-flopped on issue of immigration multiple times. No one is talking about protectionism policies (that can actually appeal to some Democrats) and trade issues and keeping manufacturing jobs in America (with exception of maybe Santorum). Trump is not partisan to any party, which shouldn't be an admirable trait either way, its about country/principles over party. Party partisanship is why we're in this mess, electing sell-outs just because he's wearing your favorite jersey.

I'm not defending Trumps rhetoric...but with his supporters something has to give.

Ah yes, the WWE Trump saga. Didn't McMahon end up shaving his head at the end of it.

Politics is always about the lowest common denominator. America's just happens to be getting worse.

Immediately following Thursday's debate, Fox was deluged with pro-Trump emails. The chatter on Twitter was equally in Trump’s favor. “In the beginning, virtually 100-percent of the emails were against Megyn Kelly,” one Fox source, who was briefed on the situation told me. “Roger was not happy. Most of the Fox viewers were taking Trump’s side.”

Things got worse for Ailes over the weekend. In a phone conversation, Trump told Sean Hannity that “he was never doing Fox again,” according to one person with knowledge of the call. The anti-Kelly emails, and threat of a boycott by Trump, seems to have pushed Ailes to diffuse the war. One Fox personality told me that Fox producers gave instructions to tell in-house talent not to bring up Trump’s controversial comments that Kelly had “blood coming out of her wherever" during the debate. According to one count, Fox only aired Trump’s comment once since Friday, while CNN mentioned it at least 50 times.

In recent days, Ailes got a glimpse of what a Trumpless Fox News would look like. On Sunday, Trump called in to the four other public affairs shows; this morning he gave interviews to Today and Morning Joe. Inside Fox, this was alarming. “This thing with Megyn got way ahead of Roger and bigger than he must have thought,” one Fox personality said. “Roger wants this to blow over,” another source added. “He’s upset that conservatives are mad at Fox.” Online, Ailes also took flack. Both The Drudge Report and Breitbart News carried pro-Trump headlines.

Whatever Ailes said to Trump in their phone call earlier, it seems to have worked. Trump has agreed to interviews on Fox & Friends and Hannity tomorrow.

I keep thinking Trump's support is going to collapse especially after Fox seemingly was attempting to derail his campaign but now I'm starting to wonder.
