no I think the worst art so far was those two issue from the phinox arc, I couldnt stand the whole animeish look to it.The Joker said:The worst art was the last issue of the world tour arc.
I don't think its to bad right now its had worse.
Essex said:I can't believe what I'm hearing. Stuart Immonen has been one of comics' greatest treasure for years. He has always done gorgeous art for both DC and Marvel and represents the height of talent.
squeekness said:Immonem's art didn't bother me, but Finch is definately better. I like my art to be much more detailed.![]()
GNR4Life said:Ahh cmon Squeek!Finch couldn't draw 6 facial expressions if his life depended on it!All his men are on steroids and have the most wrinkly brows and eyes.SUre his detail his awesome, but he reminds me of Jim Lee.Draws real awesome stuff but the emotion and the feelings of that characters are missing.
Essex said:I totally agree with your comments on Finch's art, but I don't even think the supposed detail is any good. What makes it detailed? The superfluous lines he throws onto every figure? That's not detail...It's just pencil mileage.
Unecessary lines don't equal an attention to detail. Look at Josh Middleton. His art features some of the fewest lines of any artist, but his detail is unparalleled.

He has been floating for a while now and should return home.
Yes, It came out on Wednesday and was quite good. *squeekness won't give anything away*baby_webhead said:Has the next issue come out yet? The part 2 of the dance story arc.
It was good, but I'm not sure if I like where some plot specifics are going, likesqueekness said:Yes, It came out on Wednesday and was quite good. *squeekness won't give anything away*![]()
GNR4Life said:Same here.I was onboard with BKV,but all this stuff lately with the Wolvie/Sabes rel'p and this Shiar Church of Enlightenment nonsense,it just seems as if they're trying way to hard to shock us with these lame uninspired "surprises".
BKV really travelled new ground, which was why ppl loved UXM.
This was all very fresh, new and exciting stuff. But 2 issues in,Kirkman only seems to be treading nothing but old water.
- Sinister,a delusional killer.
- Fenris, actually cool without the 80s looking outfits handing the X-Men their arses, while losing Wolverine and Rogue in the process.
- Longshot,badass and a murderer.
- Deathstrike being linked to Storm, not Wolvie.
- An epic storyling seeing Polaris,Havok, and Magneto playing integral roles for once.
