Well, at least he gave us Pixar.

Can't really add to the Rory discussion other than I never thought I'd see the day where Mysti would steal a man from a woman and not vice versa. SUCK IT AMY POND! :cmad: Keep on waiting!

I like her well enough. I just feel like there were a lot of Amy-centric episodes. I want more Doctor dang it! But even the Doctor ones seem to always be about Saving Amy, or 'The girl who waited', or River, or something.. I've argued this point with my best friend, strangers, hobo's on the street, and I seem to be the only one with this opinion. Not saying that every episode has been that way, I can think of a lot which haven't. But there's also been enough for me to notice. But yeah... I'm just weird like that? Umm.. *points to her sig* I'm crazy.

I know a lot of people argue the same with Rose, but to be honest my 9th-10th Doctor viewings were spotty, so maybe this companion centric storyline is normal and I just never knew.

You are the good kind of crazy Twylight :fhm:

This season did focus a lot on Amy/Rory/River but maybe now the story arc has wrapped up it will focus more on the Doctor next season

I wonder who his new companions will be

I still want Jenny and Vastra to travel with him :hrt:

My favorite Companions were Leela "Can I kill it doctor?" and Romana "I'm a timelord too"

Good news: I finally found a comic book shop that's not too far from where I live, bad news: the shop is all sold out of copies of the new Action Comics #1.

you're not missing much. the highlight of the series is it promises to reveal the origin of superman's clothes:dry:

Loved both of the Romana's

And Leela too. All of the fourth doctors companions were pretty great really :)

I kind of liked how each of the companions this time around had their own legends surrounding them. "The Girl who Waited," "The Last Centurion," and the mystery of River Song. All pretty cool (the last only after they started revealing stuff and stopped making her this obnoxious, all-knowing *****e). It was a nice complement/mirror to the Doctor's legend, which formed the basis for the main plot in series 6.

I want an American. Get Canton Delaware in for a few more episodes.

They should bring Captain Jack back for a few episodes. Might help repair the damage RTD has been doing to him over in Torchwood.

Better yet bring James Masters Captain John Hart over to Doctor Who.

A Torchwood series starring Canton, Jack, John Hart, Jenny and Vastra  Every episode they fight alien weirdness in the sexiest and most bad ass way imaginable. It would be the most amazing television series ever filmed or that ever could be filmed and it would fill me with fangirl joy

Make it happen BBC

Claudia Black aka Aeryn Sun is going to be voicing the Cheetah in Justice League: Doom :atp:

I'd love to see him show up again  He was great in Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon

I've said this numerous times before. The same exact thing.

The problem lies in the fact that a lot of older fans believe the Doctor should be an unknowable character; you can get the gist of his personality (in that particular regeneration), but you'll never be able to really get in his head or find out his past. This dates back to the 60's when the show first started. The title implies that we don't know who the Doctor is.

But today's writers still want to write episodes that are character-driven, so they feel free to focus on the companions.

In a semi-related segue, character-driven plots are beginning to chafe on me lately.
