^Hot damn!

I thought it was cool that the "actors" is Cannibal Holocaust stayed hidden from the public after the movie aired so people would actually believe they'd been murdered.

Yep the authorities thought that the whole film was real until the actors came forward and the crew showed how the gory effects were faked and not for real

But they really killed that poor turtle :csad:

Coatimundi, turtle, spider, snake, two squirrel monkeys, and a pig. :csad:

Your Star Wars reference has cheered me up Spoons :)

There's no excuse for that I think

I mean I eat meat. But I think killing an animal for no reason at all is just a wicked thing to do :csad:

Ki Adi Mundi is a Jedi. A coatimundi is a small furry animal, with Jedi powers.

Stop speaking gibberish.

I.....stink. And I'm gonna go take a shower. Who wants to get soapy with me?

Fluffy Jedi! :atp:

It uses its powers to battle Sith wolves

This bully character in The Inbetweeners(and most bullies in tv/movies actually) is becoming an irritant. He just stole their vodka.

Just watched The Trial of the Monarch... Weird episode, it's like the whole series just changed gears.

Barnes and Noble won't be selling DC comics anymore, apparently. Rumor is they're pissed off because they wanted to expand their digital market, and DC wouldn't put their Digital Comics on the Nook.

Their explanation was that if they can't have both print and digital sales, they won't do just 1. It's because of the Amazon Kindle deal DC comics made.

It seems so.

This'll definitely put a bit of a dent in DC's sales. Might boost that of some comic shops, but it'll definitely affect their sales.

I saw most of them way back then but missed this episode.

It's one of my favourites

Doctor Venture's running commentary on the increasingly ludicrous trial makes me giggle :hehe:

I bought the Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection yesterday. I'm now starting on my third play-through of Ico (and hopefully the one where I manage to do it in under 2 hours for the last trophy I need).

Question, who here read Kingdom Come? is it worth buying?

I read it. Loved kingdom come. The art was beautiful, and it's one of my favorite Superman stories (seeing that Superman is the most important character in the book).

I'm on season 2 of Dr Who.

Few questions.

How come when Rose saved her father, things went nuts, but when the Doctor travels to certain time periods and messes around, nothing bad happens like it did for Rose?

What year does the Doctor come from?

How does the Doctor know what time period to go to stop bad things from happening? I'm presuming he can feel time itself?

Rose saved a person who, by all accounts, needed to be dead. Stopping her father from dying changes her own history, thus changing her history with the Doctor, thus changing the Doctor's own recent history-- That's never good for a time traveler. So the universe started eating away at itself until the timeline was fixed.

Most of the time when the Doctor saves someone's life or messes around in the past, he's not affecting anything or anyone important.

What year does the Doctor come from?

He comes from an alien planet full of time travelers with its own calender system. He was born 900+ years ago on his home planet, whatever year that was for them.

How does the Doctor know what time period to go to stop bad things from happening? I'm presuming he can feel time itself?

Actually, he doesn't know where to go to stop bad things. Haven't you noticed? He almost always stumbles on that stuff by accident. He doesn't look for trouble; trouble finds him.

But yes, he can feel time too.
