I was thinking since everybody else is watching Breaking Bad, I'd start on Mad Men.

just came back from Dream House screening.

i almost didn't go because i thought it was predictable from the trailers.

it's not.

it's pretty good. 8/10

kinda but that's not at the end, that's like 45 min in but that's not the main plot and james bond is still a badass

I'm late on watching Terra Nova, but it conflicts on Monday night with Castle and Top Gear. >.> Can't cancel the new eps of Top Gear!

Oddly it reruns on NGC. Anyway, other than the temporal paradox plot hole that bugs the heck out of me, the show seems pretty awesome. Makes me wish for more Primeval and also what it would look like on a big screen.

Well, theoretically, if you go back in time *even 25 million years*, you're going to impact the environment and change things which would in turn change the history of the earth.

THEORETICALLY.

Unless they touch upon the point that all the signs pointed to people going back in time anyway thereby fulfilling what needed to be done anyway, creating a finite loop that loops infinitely. Or something such as that...

But then again, I'm an art student. :o I'm just guessing on this science-y stuff.

Explosive arrows. Incendiary arrows. Grapple arrows. Arrows with Ant-Man hanging onto the end of them.

I could go on.
hmmmmmmm-1.gif
Hawkeye shooting Ant-Man across a city into a building and then Pym doing a Guile style uppercut into Giant-Man on Baron Von Strucker on avengers earth's mightiest heroes was straight gangster.

Makes the fastball special look s***

Too bad we are not getting to see that in live action.

I want to see that even though I watched the trailer and I think I can guess the twist

they could also be going into a parallel dimension's version of that time, maybe even inadvertently.

but that craziness right there is why only the flash, doctor who, marty mcfly, and the various casts of star trek are allowed to time travel in my book

Dr. Doom does it right. He only goes back and steals treasure from pirates. Makin' it rain, pirate style.

:D

Do it. DO IT!

Anyway, I was thinking about finally getting a Kindle when DC announced they were doing a slew of trades and GNs for Kindle (and good ones that I want to read, too, not just a bunch of crap no one cares about), and you can get one for just $80 now, but then I read closer and realized it was only the Kindle Inferno, which is...not juts $80. I may still get one later, though

You mean Fire. Kindle Inferno is the cheap Korean knock off.

Pre-ordered and paid my Batman Arkham City Collector's Edition. \o/

They cleared this up when the daughter explained the probe. Time in Terra Nova isn't linear, so going back in time actually sent them to a different timestream. No worries about the chaos theory

So now they're in an alternate universe? Makes sense.

I really loved the first episode of Terra Nova definitely enough to keep watching it. Hoping its going to stay this good

It was a neat way to begin the series. Like the cast of characters and I dig dinosaurs. It's definitely got me interested

SCIENCE

I thought you said grape arrows. Now I'm hungry. :csad:

Grape arrows are how he saved the world from hunger

He just launches them at hungry people in countries suffering from famine

It be crazy :o

Yeah, they sent this big land-mine looking probe back in time to a specific place and when it didn't suddenly appear in that same spot in present day, they concluded that it must be in a diff dimension.

Not the very plausible possibility that somebody or something could have moved it over 65 million years, but w/e lol

Yep an alternate version of the past

Or some thing ate it.

Or somebody moved it.

I think that might actually end up being a key plot point.

That would be hilarious if they eventually stumbled onto the probe in some pterodactyl's nest or something. "Uh... about that parallel universe theory..." :funny:

Get ready to Glide over the city of Gotham as the one and only Caped Crusader

Only 18 days left until Arkham City arrives in stores . :batty:

Ye gods, the combat looks as amazing as ever. Seriously, the combat system stands out as especially impressive even amongst everything else that Arkham Asylum did amazingly.

:funny:

That would be a neat twist if that happened on the show Corp

Well if they were wrong god help us all

Because the world will surely be overrun by horrible dinosaur/human hybrids created by lusty perverts in the past breeding with dinosaurs
