Honestly, 2 or 3 certain people get banned here and I'd probably walk myself...

As always, it depends on where you're at.

We get away with a hell of a lot more in here than we would in, say, the politics forum. Mainly cuz everybody up in there is an over opinionated A-hole....which is probably why BL fit in so well there.

I stay away from the Politics forums.

yeah, there are certain areas on the hype that are kinda ban-happy, and others where cooler heads tend to prevail. and then there some mods who will chase you down into other sections and look for excuses to ban you.

i think the worst section used to be the smallville section but it's gone now, so yeah i'd say it's probably politics now

so, in my head marvel is split into two distinct warring factions; the bendis camp and the camp that doesn't suck but has to clean up his mess. i say this because today i bought the issue of avengers where they unveil the new team, and the seige aftermath cap book. one of these was full on horrible, the other was a thinly veiled **** you to bendis in which brubaker said "don't **** with my characters while i'm in the middle of a story asshat."

i really want to see storm, luke cage, and spider-woman die in a car accident. not even a cool evil super villany car accident, just like someone runs a red light and then they all die.

I still love the moment in the Widow's Sting episode of Avengers:EMH where Hawkeye's quiver catches fire, and he *SHOCK* *GASP* takes it off...

Here's the thing though, a lot of people put way too much emotion into their posts here. Besides the people who get banned for stupid stuff like racking up infractions for hotlinking or nipslips, most come from heated disagreements. There's a big difference between "I think you're wrong" and "I think you're wrong you dumbass". The latter will contribute to your banning and it could have been avoided. I see ridiculous opinions that I disagree with daily here, but nothing worth getting into a name-calling argument over.

i have 2 friends in country and they're both at another base. other than that all i have is my boss, who's pretty cool but still my boss. i like drinking as much as the next guy but it seems that drinking for its own sake and fps games are the only social activities here. i don't really care for fps games

Secret Avengers with Remender starts in February, but the Warren Ellis stuff has been fun stuff already.

So far its been crazy amounts of fun and I'm liking the cast of characters

Because not ONE of them deserves to be an Avenger? Earth's MIGHTIEST Heroes. Not Blaxploitation Weekly and Spider-Woman.

Storm is pretty mighty Supergirl. She can control all the worlds weather and is a really skilled fighter too

It feels odd seeing her on any team other than the X Men though
