Um, I believe you're thinking of my song, Pina Coladaberg.

Oh good. I was hoping to have a seizure tonight. Cheers mate.:up:

I just read the first volume of Paul Dini's Batman Detective series and I really liked it, is the rest of the series of similar qualities?

I also read Turning Points. Man, that was surprisingly touching.

Only thing that sucked from Paul Dini's run was House of Hush, the very last trade collecting his work. Man that was a serious letdown in so many levels. :*(

Wompum: Definiely chekc out Mark Waid's Daredevil! It's swashbuckling adventures, like 70s Batman. :awesome:

From what I hear, most things involving Hush tend to be quite sub-par.

Trust me, Heart of Hush by Paul Dini is freaking awesome, Money of Hush was a build up to House of Hush, but with House of Hush Paul Dini introduced too many new characters, gave Joker an unnecessary origin story and it just didn't have enough focus on Hush, Bruce and Catwoman to be honest.

i never did read house of hush, need to do that. streets was the best batbook

Was House of Hush the story that did the whole Martha and Thomas pre-dating backstory? That wasn't terrible.

Also, read the first few issues of DD and really loved it. Just need to track down the back issues. But you know what, that can be as fun as readin' 'em. Ah yes, the thrill of the hunt. That feeling of satisfaction upon success. I just love it so damn much.

I didn't enjoy Batman: Hush by Loeb mostly because of Jim Lee's art. As for the story I did like Hush's backstory but that was about it.

I just remembered all the nonsense with hush stealing Bruce's face. That was idiotic.

The Dark Knight Rises trailer -Officially online!

I like the Hans Zimmer's soundtrack, but gosh is this a rather dark trailer, not a single joke thrown at us. I like how they visually show Batman being older with white hair.

Bane's 1 line there is pretty awesome, so brutal, but does his voice sound that scary? I guess it depends on the person, but i thought it seemed abit weird, not hard to understand, but weird.

Alright nerds. Assemble. The intro to The Departed, where Matt Damon is all young and hanging out in that shop and Nicholson gives him all the bread and milk and ****. He gives him some Wolverine comics. That has to be too early for Wolverine right? I couldn't find the exact issue but it had to be early 90's.

Wolverine has been around since the 70's.

Agreed. You give a kid that young Wolverine issues and you're almost certainly setting him on the path to organised crime...

Wolverine #11 from 1989.

Well, he's been around since mid-70s but he didn't get his first solo run of sorts until around the time I was born in '82.

Take it back you ****. Jim Lee delivers some of his best work ever in that story.

His lines bug me, it's too much. It almost feels like a sketchbook, Sorry. :csad:
