I need to watch it at some point. I gotta read the comics as well, but who knows when that'll happen?

Yeah, I kind of want to read the comics, too, just out curiosity to see what all the fuss is about. They have some great cheap HCs that collect two-three books on Amazon, I just never got around to them either.

I convinced a guy at my library to purchase them. I haven't seen them show up in the catalog yet, though.

I remember reading Tin Tin books in the Primary school library when I was about 8 years old along with Asterix and Obelix.

The comics are really good :)

I have a bunch of the Tin Tin books and they are really great adventure stories

The Adventures of Tin Tin is another biggish movie out right now, besides what's been mentioned already. I haven't seen it myself but hear solid things.

That movie was fabulous and so much fun. Loved watching that and I'm really hoping for a sequel

And I want to hug Snowy. Such a cute cgi puppy :atp:

It's a bit of both. The ending will probably take on wildly different meanings to everyone who watches it.

I'll have to try and check that film out

Hey Tron, did you see Adventure Time with Fiona & Cake yet?

Yeah, I did, I got the season pass for all of season three recently. It was pretty funny, like AT tends to be in general, but I don't know, I wasn't sure what I was expecting exactly, but I didn't like it as much as I hoped. I thought the ending was kind of stupid, too. I mean, yeah, kind of funny and goofy and all, but eh. Couldn't Fiona & Cake have just been real? I kind of wanted to see a crossover at some point.

Most of them aren't but there's at least one that is pretty horifically racist :wow:

Well Ice King needs to write some more fan fiction!

PS. How did you like Ice King's origin? I also like how people actually theorize on this show regarding Gunther, since he might be something more then a mere penguin. I think Marceline's father referred him as the most evil being ever existing.

I thought it was pretty sad, actually. I'm guessing that means he was probably alive before the war, or whatever disaster, destroyed our civilization. Pretty interesting, wouldn't have thought that. I was a little more freaked out by Beemo's little fetish revelation.

Do not pry into Gunther's secrets Drz

Or he'll steal your soul :ninja:

I saw 50/50 last night, it was very good. It's both a great subtle comedy and a great drama.

I just want to give the Ice King a hug :csad:

Seth Rogen's pretty funny in it. I was surprised that he wrote it. It's decidedly more earnest and serious than his usual writing, but he didn't turn it into a farce.

It has to be better than Funny People at least.

Actually he just produced it, his friend Will Reiser wrote the script and it was based on when he had cancer.

It has to be better than Funny People at least.

Far better than Funny People and I liked Funny People.

Oh, my bad. I thought he wrote it too.

That movie was just all over the place. I guess that was meant to mirror the cathartic, sad-clown nature of comedians' real lives, but it just came off as unentertaining to me.

Funny people was about half an hour too long and had major identity issues.

I like Dominic Monaghans name for America Football 'Armored Catch' if your going to name sports like football by their literal meaning.

Aussie Rules Football, American Football, Rugby are all derived from (Soccer) English Football anyway.
Aussie Rules Football and American Football are just versions of rugby which derived from soccer.

Yeah, but nothing rolls off the tongue as good as "ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!?!"

Are you ready for American Rules Rugby just doesn't work. :o
