They better. Baron Zemo is one of Cap's best enemies. he's such a deep and complex character, I remeber reading his "Born Better." mini series and actually wanting to cheer the guy on. it'd be a damn shame if they didnt use him.

He's definitely more three dimensional and not as much of a complete and total monster as the Skull

His character development in Thunderbolts was pretty interesting

You know, this might make me an *******, but I can't help but laugh at Green Lanterns misfortune. I can imagine Geoff Johns in his Green Lantern PJs crying himself to sleep at night. That makes me feel warm inside.

I find it funny that a lot of the reviews are like "Hal Jordan is a flat and uninteresting character, Reynolds tries his best but there is nothing there" or something to that effect.

So at least it's comic book accurate right?

Its less funny when you think about all the possibly awesome non batman and superman comic book movies we could have gotten had it been better.

When you think about the ****storm of blame that will go around if GL fails, Geoff Johns is set up to be the fall guy. As "Chief Creative Officer" it's your job to make sure **** is good. He won't lose his job but he will get a lot of **** for it.

Well yea, don't get me wrong. I wanted this movie to succeed. If only for the chance to see other GLs like Guy Gardner on screen. And for WB to make other movies like Flash or Wonder Woman or Captain Marvel.

But I really, really, really dislike Geoff Johns. And I think Hal Jordan is a terrible character... so at the same time, I kinda take some sadistic glee out of all this.

I actually feel real really bad for Martin Campbell the director. poor bastard should have stayed the hell away from this.

I wonder how much of the budget did it take for Hal Jordan's armor? They shouldn't had gone with the CGI costume if it meant losing screentime from OA and whatnot.

Well apparently, including marketing costs the budget is like, 300 million. So GL needs to make some big numbers if we are to ever see a sequel or a Flash, WW, JLA or Captain Marvel movie.

They should of done a Flash movie first if they wanted to test the waters with a superhero who isn't Superman or Batman.

The Flash is a more safe choice than Green Lantern. Reynolds would of made a decent Wally atleast

Thing is though, with Geoff Johns in charge Wally wouldn't be Flash. It'd be Barry. The guy with zero personality.

DC's contempt for Wally isn't even subtle. What's happening to him in this relaunch? Haven't read or heard anything about him.

I remember before Flashpoint started Johns was like "We have plans for Wally". Yea right... *******.

The thing about WB is, there is nothing else going with DC other than Batman and Superman. There's no script for Flash, Green Arrow, Captain Marvel, JLA nothing. They're waiting to see what happens with GL. Instead of you know steam rolling people with DC movies, however bad they are. Gotta give it up to Marvel we're getting at least 2 Marvel movies a year, this year we're getting 3.

Also, I know people love to **** on this, but did anyone else watch The Real World this season, it was so ridiculously entertaining.
