Yea man, Incredibles is one of the best superhero movies ever. It totally deserves a sequel.

the merchandising $$$ for Cars is ridiculous....I was reading somewhere that it is one of their highest grossing properties since the Lion King, which has been king of the money hill for some time now

Speaking of Incredibles, the other day we discussed what directors should do comic book movies, Brad Bird is a name to watch out for. He worked on a lot of Pixar stuff, including The Incredibles and is directing the new Mission Impossible movie.

Yeah, it if does any good I could see his name popping up for countless comic book movies since he obviously is a fan. He'd also be right at home with Disney and Paramount.

The funny thing is, how many times has Uncanny been relaunched with a new #1? I can think of maybe 2-3 times that I remember.

First Marvel brags how their 0.1 system is working well, so why don't they use that instead of going #1 on Uncanny X-Men? I mean yeah i guess the truth is that alot of people will purchase that, since last year Uncanny X-Force #1 and X-Men #1 we're top sold comics of 2010.

Silly sentimentality. Whether or not the comic relaunches will have no real effect on its quality. They'll just restore the original numbering in a few years, anyway.

Exactly, and it's not like it's some over the top, desperate reboot like DC is doing. It's a new team, new direction so they're marking it with a new #1.

The stupid part is, in previews Marvel is making a point in stating their comics still have original numbering.

Wonder Woman is, I think Batwoman is, I hold some of the BOP characters. Secret Six is available.
