I hated how in Batman and Robin they continued this whole Robin is a hothead and reckless. Didn't we get that over with in Forever? Also, the movie was **** so that didn't help.

I thought Batman Forever was pretty good, in certain parts. Some of the character moments were great.

But then i had a photosensitive seizure from all the neon lights...

Out of the 7 Batman movies, Batman Forever is my least favorite. It didn't know what it was trying to be, at times it was either serious or campy.

Way to set the bar really high. :D
Surprisingly Batman Forever is held rather high regard than some folks on these boards.
Batman Forever
Well Batman Forever is held some high regard by some people on Hype but yeah I know whst you mean :cwink:
The film where Bruce Wayne 'adopts' a twenty year old man so he can dress him up in skintight rubber :ninja:
I found Chunks adoption of Sloth in the Goonies more convincing.

The fact Chris O'Donnell got the role because the producers asked a bunch of 11 year olds who would win in fight between Chris and Leonardo DiCaprio and the kids said O'Donnell makes me laugh.

Exactly, the serious start makes it all the more disappointing. I enjoy Batman and Robin more because it's downright stupid from the start.

I saw GL and I gotta say I expected better from Martin Campbell. I'm very disappointed with the end result IMO both Thor and First Class was so much better than this film .
So much wasted potential and The CGI looked very animated at times, The villain was an absolute joke, Carol was miscasted , Ryan overall just wasn't Hal Jordon from the comics . If a sequel is made their needs to be some serious improvements done for this franchise .

Looking forward to Transformers : DOTM and Captain America

My problem with it was it was a Jim Carrey movie. Don't get me wrong, I loved Jim Carrey as the mask, he's a great actor, but when he's cast as a well know character it often turns into "Jim Carrey as (X)" where it's more Jim Carrey than (X).

i'm laughing at you Absinthe noobs right now. They sell that **** all over Michigan, the good stuff too. before it was legal in the US we used to go to Canada and drink it. ****ing awesome.

Yeah, too bad you live in Michigan though. :o :p

Does anyone remember the name of the comic book that was a superhero parody made in 70s or early 80s that Grant Morrison clains Alan Moore literally ripped off to make Watchmen?

Squadron Supreme?

Nah it's not Squadron Supreme, it's suppose to be purely a parody book, i think it had the name "Super" in it, but gosh i can't just find it. Morrison just accused Moore in a "Invisibles" column page that i saw once in a long long time. :(

Hahaha what the what

Is that really how O'Donnell got the part

Also Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy just upsets me :csad: :down

Which one was your favourite Kane

Which one was your favourite Kane

As of now it's:

1) The Dark Knight
2) Batman Begins
3) Batman: Mask of the Phantasm
4) Batman Returns
5) Batman 1989
6) Batman & Robin
7) Batman 1966
8) Batman Forever

also TDK and BB are basically a tie for me.

Wow there is a third Harold and Kumar movie coming out this year I just noticed

They are like the modern Cheech and Chong except better because they have Neil Patrick Harris
Hahaha what the what

I would love to say I'm joking but thats actually how he got to play Robin

With such genius decision making its not too suprising Batman and Robin would turn out to be such poop a few years later.

I would agree with most of your choices there but I think I like Mask of the Phantasm a bit more than the Nolan films

Adam West just shed a single tear and he doesn't even know why.

Actually he totally does, BECAUSE HE IS THE BATMAN, he just knows that sort of thing.

EDIT: In sincerity the only thing I'd really question there is how does Batman and Robin edge out both 66 and Forever, I mean, I liked Ahnuld too and all, but dang.

Everything is better with Neil Patrick Harris. That is a fact of science :atp:

He is the reason I'm watching How I Met your Mother

The same genius that made Batgirl an annoying and pointless character and made Bane a dumb thug

Though at least the film was funny

Actually he totally does, BECAUSE HE IS THE BATMAN, he just knows that sort of thing.

He can fight off sharks with just a can of bat spray

Until i see any other Batman do that I will always think of the Adam West as the most bad ass Batman ever

Wow, I'm not even going to glance over the edge of that abyss.

They were clearly all on acid at the time. Hence the neon lights all over the place.
