so I went to see "The Lincoln Lawyer" today and it was superb.....everyone was awesome and it was good to see McConaughey do something quality again....

I give it a 4 out of 5

The WB footage was ok. It didn't excite me at all like Cap or Thor. Could be my hate for Hal, but there's something that this movie is lacking in the excitement department. Oh Ryan Reynolds made a joke, cool so he's playing himself in this movie? There's also this lighting issue I have with the movie, it looks like a movie Fox would put out.

I feel the same way. I don't really care about the whole Marvel vs DC thing Fanboys are obsessed with but GL doesn't excite me. I've read Thor, Captain America and Green Lantern comics I like them although I wouldn't say I was a superfan of the characters.

I can see how if you were a big Green Lantern fan you would be stoked to see all this stuff but for someone who isn't it just looks like another superhero flick with a bunch of weird looking aliens with even weird names Trek.

Plus altohugh I like Reynolds it looks like Two Guys A Girl and an Alien Magic Ring. His Hal 'Berg' Jordan

I wish people still hired out the Jim Henson Creature Shop instead of using CGI for everything. I don't get why people like Sinestro have to be CGI.

I like practical effects in certain movies I think they actully work better than CGI sometimes because they have a sort of depth texture and tangibility that some CGI lacks.

I still think the model minature space ships in the orginal Star Wars movies look better than the CGI ones in the Prequels.

Guillermo del toro is one of the best directors at getting the right balance between CGI and practical effects, sets, characters.

it's just infinitely cheaper to design and implement something digitally as opposed to spending x amount of $$$ on countless man hours to develop a certain thing
