Damn it! If they'd chosen Sydney I could've tried to put the moves on Lana.

Eddie Redmayne Joins the Wachowskis' Jupiter Ascending

Eddie Redmayne is the latest name to enter negotiations to star in Andy and Lana Wachowski's Jupiter Ascending, Variety reports. He'd star in the sci-fi tale opposite Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis.

The film focuses on higher forms of life who are watching us from other worlds. Kunis will play a Russian immigrant who is busily scrubbing toilets for a living. Unbeknownst to her, she actually possesses the same perfect genetic makeup as the Queen of the Universe and is therefore a threat to her otherwise immortal rule.

Although Redmayne's specific role has not yet been revealed, you can catch the star in Les Misérables when it hits theaters Christmas Day.

Woo! No offense but so far he's the only real actor that has joined this movie which is odd for such an interesting concept.

Eh, Mila's alright but she's not really an actress. She's more of a star.

I'm honestly not worried. I'm positive the Wachowskis will know what to do with the cast and I'm sure this Redmayne guy is just fine.

Sean Bean Joins Lana And Andy Wachowski’s ‘Jupiter Ascending’ At Warners
By MIKE FLEMING JR

EXCLUSIVE: Sean Bean has been set by Warner Bros for a starring role in Jupiter Ascending, which Lana and Andy Wachowski will direct as their next film. Bean will play Stinger, a Hans Solo type of character written older than co-star Channing Tatum. He joins Eddie Redmayne, Tatum and Mila Kunis. Bean is represented by CAA and Independent Talent in the UK.

I still haven’t gotten over Bean getting killed in HBO’s Game of Thrones, but Bean has been working steadily, including Percy Jackson: Sea Of Monsters. This should be a high profile gig for him. We can all just hope that this will be that rare movie where Bean’s character lives to the end credits.
Love that guy.

You know it's going to happen. Hell, they even moved his death from The Two Towers to The Fellowship of the Ring because they realized no movie can end with Sean Bean surviving.

Bean didn't die in Flightplan or North Country, hell he actually played good men in both films.

After the credits. They filmed a scene where he was gored by a rhino and fired out of a circus cannon, respectively. Just for tradition's sake. :woot:

july 25? this has to be an action heavy movie.

and Kunis is playing a Russian immigrant? hahaha
