*tries and fails to stifle laughter*

Let's see, Maggie found an obstetrician, is becoming a leader, there's another Asian dude in the Hilltop, and she cut her hair seeing her in the talking dead.

Either her or Glen are almost now confirmed to get Lucille'd

Eh. I doubt Maggie's biting the dust anytime soon. I think the writers got plans for her.

lol talking dead proved
maggie
lives. nice haircut :o

Daryl with the rocket launcher was the highlight of the first ep and him and Rick's road trip was the best thing about the second ep, you don't kill of your Han.

The hippie Ninja they discovered is an intriguing character, is he part of Negan's crew?

But Han did get killed off :/

They won't kill off Maggie. She's going to run Hilltop.

That's probably correct, but she did cut her hair very short.

But as it is, Glen just shot up as the front runner to get the bat. Did anyone see Lauren's disgusted face when Chris Hardwick and Kid Cudi were discussing Negan and the big things that were in store for him.

Plus the situation for Maggie and Glen is getting too nice, comfy and relaxed for them. An obstetrician, Rick putting her in command, her getting what she wanted from Gregory, and there being some kind of hope when they were looking at the sonogram. Nope, not buying that they're going to leave the season unharmed.

After last night's episode, looks like the frontrunners to meet Lucille are Daryl, Glenn, and Maggie.

Daryl's tiny little speech last night served as kind of a "warning sign" to me. He seemed WAY too optimistic when talking about facing Negan's group.

And then there's Glenn and Maggie. Yeah, that sonogram moment could mean that one of them is going to bite the dust.

Maggie's line of "it's going to cost us something" is bigger foreshadowing.

And in the comics:
She runs the Hilltop after Glen's death. It's obvious she's getting poised to run it. Very obvious. No way do things end up nice, neat with roses for Maggie, Glen and the baby. No way. Anyone thinking it does is in denial.

Again, do people really think things are going to end well for Maggie, Glen and the baby? Do people really think they're going to end up running the Hilltop as a big happy family?

Is anyone else finding Abraham's arc (if you can even call it that) really uninteresting? So basically, he's banging one hot chick would would probably be out of his league in normal circumstances, but he secretly wants to be banging another hot chick who would be out of his league in normal circumstances. Big f***ing whoop. They need to do something more interesting with his character because he's getting boring.

Well it just felt like they were just getting us ready for him (Abe) to die very soon, just when he thinks he has things figured out I could see him dieing next week, either him, Rosita, Sasha, Tara one or more of them could die before they even get to any big Negan related death in the season finale. The core group is a bit bloated, imo the core should be able to all fit on the camper and split if things got bad.

The bat seems to be pointing in different directions. It's anyone's guess now who it will be. I honestly just have no idea.

I don't know what's going on with Abe. This season he's become a love sick man with a death wish. His lust for Sasha is making him reckless. I am getting the impression that his days are numbered.

I'll agree on Glenn and Maggie, but substitute Abe for Daryl. I still think the show will save Daryl's death for the final season.

I hope we actually see Negan soon. Can't wait to see how it all plays out.

[BLACKOUT]It's already been confirmed that he'll appear in the season finale.[/BLACKOUT]

No spoilers ahead, all speculation:

I think that Abraham will die either before this season is over or in the first half of season 7, but I don't think he'll be the supposed "big death" in this season's finale. In the EW article, Lauren Cohan and Andrew Lincoln were both shaken up about it, and Lincoln even said he lost sleep over it. I don't think they're referring to Abraham. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure they love Michael Cudlitz but I can't see them being that shocked about Abraham dying. To me it sounds like they're talking about someone who's been there since the beginning, and that's either Glenn or Maggie.

I agree with you that they'll spare Daryl until the final season. Hell, I could even see Rick dying in the series finale. For whatever reason though, I believe that Michonne and Carl will survive the series.

I agree with most of that. Michonne and Carl seem more safe than Rick at this point.

I feel Abraham will be the easy guess towards Negan's wrath. But yeah, unsure. It would leave Rosita and Sasha hanging to discover his feels and create a obstacle of drama for them. I just... Hrm. Glenn would be lackluster with the previous fake out. I feel Maggie is safe bc she's the leader. Negan tends to not make martyrs, you know? Um... Hrm. Daryl is sticking out to me. It'd be the heaviest hit to the audience. It'd be risky on the show's part. They may not know that "if Daryl dies, we riot" is only slightly hyperbole. People will quit. :/ Or it'll lose flavor to them and no matter what the show does, they'll dislike it. Totally hate watching it, like people are already doing. Heh.

Where's Carol lately? She could be a contender tbh, as it would lead to some tension between Rick and Daryl and give the latter some much needed storytime.

Carol is great but something at the back of my mind is telling me she's done as much as she's going to, and in no way is wired anymore to live under the thumb of another abusive man. Also, while she's popular with the audience she doesn't have the fanbase of Daryl.

Daryl and Carol are really the main two candidates who will not accept Negan's new world order. Rick will wilt for Michonne and Carl (which will provoke the disgust from him towards his father - another story thread). Glenn if he's safe will wilt for his wife and child.

But Daryl and Carol? Two wild cards that have nothing tying them down, Daryl just has the advantage of a rabid fanbase.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere she was one of the few safe from Lucille.

My ranked possibility-list for Lucille:
1) Abraham
2) Morgan
3) Daryl
4) Glenn
5) Carol
