Gimple Talks Negan with EW

Bringing The Walking Dead’s ultimate comic-book villain to the screen is not without its challenges. While producers seem to have aced the casting, with Jeffrey Dean Morgan playing the charismatic, leather-clad lunatic, there is also the question of how the show will handle Negan’s prolific cursing. Producers previously revealed to EW that they actually shot Negan’s entrance in the season finale two different ways, one with some of the salty language Negan is known for, and another cleaner PG-13 version.

We've had quite a few instances of F*** on The People v OJ Simpson, so I hope TWD can get the same. I don't think they'd be able to deliver the full volume of F***s that comic Negan spews out on a regular basis, but even 2-3 would be a win.

I really liked Season 4. It's my third favorite season at this point.

HOWEVER. That final line was so bad.

"They're messing with the wrong people" would have been better. Totally worth the Blu-Ray purchase for that f-bomb.

I read some spoilers for the finale by the same people who run Spoiling Dead Fans page on Facebook. It doesn't sound like there's any f***s thrown in lol. I knew it probably wouldn't happen. If they did it would be bleeped out.

It has been poorly paced. The Wolves storyline went nowhere. Things feel at times both rushed, and incredibly slow.

I can see that.... I kind of miss the way previous seasons were. I'm not a big fan of Alexandria. I wasn't in the comics either.

Eugene is definitely the funniest character on the show right now. I used to hate him, but he's definitely grown on me. He made Abe and Rosita's breakup scene a riot.

Eugene was never funny in the comics. I'm glad they've given the character that comedic edge in the show.

If this is true then it's a huge mistake doing so.

It's quite possible that they left it out of screener copies to avoid the death getting leaked.

This would be the worst possible outcome for the finale, in my opinion. I'll be furious if it happens.

It would be so cheap and manipulative for AMC to do this.
