I didn't even realize this season was almost done. Thought it was going on for 20-22eps or so. Either way, can't wait to see Negan next week. I'm curious to see how the character will differ from the comics, or exactly how much "Original Negan" they'll keep in.

They're probably going to clean up his language a bit, but as far as the look is concerned, just from the brief glimpse we saw in the preview, he looks like he stepped out of the comics. The costume is spot on. Unlike the Governor, it looks like they're bringing Negan from the comics to the screen.

Perhaps they can have him throw some F-bombs and just have them muted for the show. Like on BB. And then we will get them in their full glory on the blu ray/DVD.

I keep seeing characters pop back in randomly that I thought died ages ago. I think the cast/group is way too big. They need to do some spring cleaning and just stick to like 10 people.

Tara's been MIA for 3 weeks. Where's Heath? Is that weird teenage girl really alive still? Why are we keeping this Carol-boyfriend guy? Screw these losers. They're not in every episode, and they're not interesting. And especially Gabriel. And I haven't seen Aaron in like a month. Nobody cares about Sasha or Rosita.

1. Rick
2. Carl
3. Michonne
4. Daryl
5. Carol
6. Maggie
7. Glenn
8. Morgan
9. Abraham
10. Eugene

^ This is your cast here. Stop wasting time with everyone else.

Maternity leave.

Where's Heath?
Shooting Kong: Skull Island.

Is that weird teenage girl really alive still?

Yeah.

Why are we keeping this Carol-boyfriend guy?

He's not really taking up screentime when all of his scenes are with or directly relating to Carol. And we're keeping him to tell Rick that Carol left after Daryl already left.

They also need some bodies.

Where's Heath?

On a two week supply run with Tara. Heath (as well as Sasha) have been underdeveloped most of this season. With TWD having a large cast Gimple's been struggling to develop and balance characters screen time since season 5, imo. They do need to condense the cast to where they have a better handle on certain characters.

I just thought of this... IF AMC does the whole cliffhanger thing... its going to be Jon Snow all over again.. with leaked set pics and ****... ruining 'who dies?' ... eeeeeeesssshhhhh

NOOOO NON NOONONONON ONON ONONO

I saw some of these images on tumblr but I'm glad its legit. He really does look spot on from the comics as you said. I figured they wouldn't have him swear as much. Every second word he says in the comics are F bombs lol. I hope we get a decent amount of screen time for Negan and he isn't gonna just show up the last two seconds before the finale ends. I hope he's in majority of the episode or at least the last 20 or 10 mins or so.

I wouldn't count on seeing more than one minute of Negan in the finale. TWD writers love to toy with the viewers, dragging out events in order to keep viewers tuned in every week. Storylines are never resolved in the season finale. Finale episodes are always the biggest tease.

I'm hoping his first few lines are nothing but f'n this and f'n that.

After the amount of Saviors the group has killed I'll be shocked if there is only one death in the finale.

Nah, I feel that's what they'll do. Which yeah, is good cause it sets up the next season. But I just hope we get a little screen time to see what he's gonna be like. I do like that TWD always tend to have an amazing season premier and finale. They love starting and ending on a high.

The only way a cliffhanger ending could work is ...

If one of the Atlanta Five is Lucille'd, then Negan goes "I'm not done yet," and then the screen goes into first person mode and fades to black.

If The Goldbergs, a decidedly family comedy broadcast on ABC in prime time can get away with this, I don't see how AMC can't.

Even Spongebob, in the episode 'Sailor Mouth' had some swears bleeped in the form of Dolphin noises. "Hey Squidward! How the -chirp- are ya!?" I don't understand why this is such an issue with censors.

TWD does get away with a LOT of violence. Maybe they can't have their cake and eat it too when it comes to f-bombs, including censored ones.

I think they said the reason why they aired "They're screwing with the wrong people" in the season four finale was because they didn't want to cheapen the real line by censoring it when it aired. I could be remembering that wrong, though.

I'd expect some uncensored dialogue from Negan come the blu/DVD though

I was thinking the same thing, except

A secondary character gets it first and then one of the Atlanta five

For the record I do hope it's not a cliffhanger and that info floating is false.

So...

I guess I can't link here, but the last 11 minutes of the episode leaked in audio form. Negan is the most clear voice but you can her others. That said, given how it sounds, it seems like the cliffhanger ending is confirmed. I mean, without visuals, you can't really say for sure, but it seems to end off pretty much without resolution. I'm hoping AMC held the true ending from press screeners, etc., but I'm not confident. If so, AMC is really going to tick some people off, including me.
