Haha seriously, I thought the same thing. Well not anime specifically but between the big guys uber macho look and the girls short shorts I pulled a WTF? I remember a few people complaining about Michonne not being a 'realistic' character because she carries a sword. I bet they loved these clowns.

It was like Guile and Cammy cosplayers stepped straight out of that truck. :D I think we should be past the point of worrying about realism on a show like this, and speaking of Michonne I don't think I mentioned it in my other post but her distorted flashbacks in the first episode back were really intriguing.

Haven't thought about that. That's a good call.

And yeah the baby thing was getting really uncomfortable. Yeesh.

I think it would be a way to emphasize would could become of Carl which was what Rick was worried about, the desensitized kids growing up in that environment.

One of the most difficult scenes to watch I've seen in any show.

Sooooo, rumor has it that towards the end of the season (BIG SPOILER WARNING),
[BLACKOUT]a MAJOR character that is still alive in the comics dies in a shocking way. There's speculation that this is Maggie. Apparently, Lauren Cohen maybe starring in a new show based off Frances' popular "The Returned" [/BLACKOUT]

If true, then
:csad:

It's fine but if that happens, t[BLACKOUT]hen there would be no point to Glenn, what would he live for? To go down wells? The only reason he seems to be going on currently is for his search for Maggie. And most recently his feeling of honor due to the late Hershel to take care of Maggie. So if she goes, might as well make it a glorious two for one deal. Either way I hope if they go out, they go out like bosses taking many walkers/enemy people with them.[/BLACKOUT]

Same rings true with regards to Rick, if Carl dies, I don't think he could go on, well maybe for his daughter, but surely not if he lost both.

Probably only Daryl, and Michonne could truly still keep going if everyone around them who they loved died.

I still cant wrap my head around the amount of zombies they kill. Just this little group has killed thousands. Other groups killing thousands should basically eliminate most of the zombies around.

There are billions of people in the world. A few thousand, even tens of thousands out of billions isn't much.

Yea but billions of zombies dont wander into georgia. There are about 10 million people in Georgia. Say 1 percent survived now this is after the military and everyone else killed zombies all over the place. Thats 100,000. Each survivor needs to kill 100 zombies. Good lord they have mowed these things down like cordwood. And thats just this small group in this small area. There are other groups popping up all the time who also have killed massive amounts. Now that is even saying that 10 million zombies around after how many were wiped out by the military or in the aftermath or just ones who walk into pits or off cliffs or whatever.

The zombies don't just stay inside the borders though. And eventually I think they'll move out of Georgia.

Yea but zombies wander out zombies wander in. Regardless. If you have a ton of rabbits you kill them in your area sure other rabbits will move in eventually. But hell rabbits reproduce. These things only reproduce by biting someone or someone dies. Eventually you run out of people to bite or everyone who dies is dead. Now these things cant produce any other way. Now if this group were the only ones around killing zombies ok. But they keep running into boatloads of people who have killed zombies all over the place. Guys with machine guns, trucks, tanks, everything. Just this small group of people have killed more zombies in the last 4 years than I can even count. Hell the black chick has probably killed a couple thousand by herself. Multiply that times a thousand groups in the country at least. These zombie herds should be getting thin by now. But they cant seem to walk 100 yards without running into them.

Well, in the comics, [blackout]Maggie did hang herself only to be saved before she died[/blackout] but, I could see them using that as a way to kill the character.

That would suck , but at least some of the carnage hungry fans would enjoy it.

So I started reading the comics. I just finished Compendium One (the first 48 issues), which ends at around the midpoint of season four with the Governor's attack on the prison. All I have to say is "Holy ****."

There are many things the show improves on (like the inclusion of Daryl, keeping Shane and Tyreese around longer, Carol's character in general), but as much as I love the show, the comic is way better. Even though I knew the general idea of what was going to happen, it was still an enthralling read. I can't wait to get my hands on Compendium Two.

Oh, and by the way, why don't people give Robert Kirkman as much **** for killing off characters as they do George R.R. Martin for the A Song of Ice and Fire series?

Because the title is The Walking Dead, I imagine, and it's set in a world overtaken by zombies.

That would be delightful, but alas...

I think Kirkman said they modeled Negan's look on Henry Rollins, so I'm crossing my fingers for that one. He was great on SOA.

so what do we think? were those people in the house with Rick the cannibals? or will they skip that and kind of mix up some stories with Negan? bring on Jesus, too

Definitely cannibals...it was only time before they show up.

Well, yeah, but it's not exactly like Westeros is a safe zone either.

Too early to bring in Negan. The Governor's storyline literally just ended, and Kirkman said there should be a considerable gap between the two characters. Negan showed up in like issue 100 and The Governor died in issue 48.

The cannibals would be great to do. Question is who should they eat? In the comic book they
ate Dale's left leg.

That looked like blood all over the shoes of the guy Rick saw from under the bed, so my guess was the cannibals too.

Their reasoning is just utter nonsense to me. Oh shame on her for adapting to her new environment instead of staying exactly the way she was in a world that makes that a stupid way to be (Lori, Andrea).

More like TV Misguide!

Has that huge walker herd we saw episodes ago been discussed yet? Wonder what that was all about.
