Finally watching season 4. Maybe it's because I can watch multiple episodes back to back without the week in between, or just an increase in quality, but season 4>3. I'm actually enjoying the show again, which is something I thought impossible after season 3's awful finale. I'm on episode 4 atm.

Oh and that little blonde girl...something ain't right with her. I'm just waiting for her to start laughing maniacally and start shanking people. Zombies aren't people you little psycho!

I don't know. This show can be hit or miss for me. I LOVED the first half of 3, but then the second half, while there were a few good episodes in there, was literally them talking nonstop about going to war, twiddling their thumbs and no war was actually had. Then the first half of season 4 was really good, and they just took the second half's format of [blackout]splitting the group up and having episodes focus on certain characters[/blackout] waaaaaay too far, resulting in a mixed bag of some really good episodes (The Grove) and some reeeeally s*** episodes (The Daryl and Beth Hour).

That was my issue with season 3 as well. Started out with promise then in the end it was much ado about absolutely nothing.

The lack of actual war wasn't even what pissed me off the most about that, but the method of Andrea's death in the finale was just a f***ing s***show. As annoyingly as she was handled up to that point, the finale might as well have been the writers just spitting in Laurie Holden's face. "Dumb" is literally the only word I have for it. "Oh God, he's going to turn soon, I guess I better hurry and-- Nah, I'll just sit here and talk with him until he goes, and cross that bridge when I come to it." I mean, she was essentially on a set of train tracks, looking into the distance at a train heading towards her from a mile away, and then only makes an effort to dodge it when it's, like, five feet from her. The ending with Rick, Michonne, Daryl was good, but leading up to that... Jesus Christ. :o

They could have saved the character, and Laurie Holden for that matter, a lot of pain and humiliation if they had just killed her off in the episode where Carol gives her the idea of killing the Gov in his sleep. She stands over him, knife in hand... all of a sudden, his eye pops open. He kicks her in the stomach. They struggle over the knife. He wins. End of episode. It all could have been so much more tolerable... but alas.

I never could understand what the writers were thinking with Andrea. They completely fumbled her as a character, and made her one of the most hated characters and then dedicate a chunk of the finale to her then kill her in a way that just confirms once and for all that she is a moron and then she is given a protracted death scene that no one wanted to watch. It's almost like the writers were having a laugh at the viewer's expense.

Hey guys...

...gotta admit, I'm *just* now getting on board the "Dead" Train in the past few weeks or so, but I understand now where all the hype came from. AND just getting into the video game from Telltale....equally as stunning. This show is unabashedly AMAZING. THE best thing on television today, bar none.

Just a couple of questions for you fans:

1) I just binge-watched all of Season 1 on Netflix, and my ears are still ringing and my gut is still wrenched and my mind is official blown and all that. That being said, I understand that Frank Darabont was the driving force behind Season 1's writing and directing, but was fired after Season 2's opener. So....is the writing still up to snuff after that....? Darabont is a genius, and I just hope that Season 2 and later (I'll get started soon....:) ) won't be a letdown....
I'm in the minority that thinks the show got better after left. So much melodrama in season 1: the Vatos, Andrea/Amy, the Morales family leaving. The pilot is a horror and TV masterpiece, but all the truly great moments that I think of when it comes to this show came from under Glen Mazzara and Scott Gimple's watch.

But I am thankful for Darabont because he gave us that kickass pilot, the cast, and look of the show.

Probably nothing, but Norman Reedus tweeted this today,

Soooo, noting the wedding ring, Rick? Or just random prop from the set? :shr:

I thought Kirkman said he regretted Rick's losing his hand in the comics. Why would they do it now in the show?

OMG I'm actually so clueless. I completely forgot about that! I saw the picture and nothing registered at all. I thought it was about something completely different. Now I'm like please don't do this!

Why does Kirkman regret it? It has not inhibited Rick's character, and I love that The Governor has permanently left his mark on Rick.

it would be interesting, but I guess it would just be another cgi cost to add on to the show, limited camera angles to hide where his hand would be. Or go the Merle route with the knife hand.

Jesus, Lauren.

We need more info on this companion series. I want it to differ somehow. Maybe even chronicling another time period of the outbreak; like, right as it's starting to take effect (without revealing the origin). It'd be a nice contrast from to main vehicle to see things to start to fall to ****.

Maggie pulls off the sweaty, vest wearing look better than anyone since Kate from LOST.

Can't wait for the new season. I need my Walking Dead fix.

I think they might go big this year and kill one of the big 3.

1.Rick
2.Michonne
3.Daryl

I feel like Glenn will last longer than a lot of people think.
