It's inevitable that Morgan will appear. It's the mid-season finale and it's a plot point that's been waiting to be brought up again after the premiere. Which is a good thing. Morgan's presence has always elevated the quality of the show.

This show is getting so dreadfully bad. The writing is just awful, and it really hurts to type that. Nothing pertaining to Beth mattered. Everything is back where it was, with the only difference being that they have Noah now. Nothing in the hospital mattered. They're in f***ing Atlanta, the city where the first episode of the entire series took place. They have gone nowhere, traveled nowhere, made zero progress as a group this entire series. It's just awful.

It's been like 2-3 years give or take, and they have not mobilized anywhere. Like, move already. They travel these long distances by bus or by RV or cars, and they never actually WENT anywhere... this ENTIRE series. I can understand the occasional "filler" episode, but this is essentially an entire filler season, and it makes everything before it meaningless. Awful writing, and I hate admitting that to myself, because I love TWD. Or I did.

As a group, as a people, they should be making some kind of progress. Instead, they're completely stationary, wasting time at a farm, a prison, a church, a hospital, trying to survive, with no real goal to move forward. The cops in the hospital were looking pretty good and healthy... Am I to believe that Rick and his entire group could've just stayed in a building in downtown Atlanta for these entire five seasons, and they would've been fine? Come on. These are signs of a group of producers and writers who don't know what they're doing.

Ironically enough, I agree with you 99% of the time on all of these boards. Every time someone attacks you and you defend yourself, I'm usually siding with you and think you make the better points. Why you don't like me, I'm not sure, but to each his own I guess. I still like most of your posts. You win, I guess. I feel like you actively follow me sometimes and reply to anything I write with the intention to shut down anything I say, and that's fine. I just don't personally have a problem with you, and I genuinely think you're a good poster.

At least Jesus is coming. Glad Morgan is back though.

Rick has become pretty different from the comics, unless I forgot some things. Im up to date on them, but would have to go back and look before the Jesus/Negan/ etc stuff.

there were so many damn commercials it felt like a 25 minute finale.

I did too. I heard a few weeks ago that she was being killed off, so I wasn't terribly shocked, but Maggie's reaction killed me. I have a little sister, I think that part of my brain kicked in right there.

I feel season 5 had a powerful start, but once it hit the whole police/hospital plot, it kind of flip flopped. Hopefully the second half picks up steam.
