The bigger 1 and 2 buttons are nice. I don't like the d-pad but I hate all d-pads that aren't Nintendo's (which is the best and unfortunately patented).

Sony's D-pad is pretty good as well. On par with Nintendo's IMO.

Which is a shame for Microsoft because their D-pad sucks on account of Sony and Nintendo patenting what is really the only two good designs.
