The Amazing Spider-Man The Web Fluid: Stolen, or bought? Oscorp, or not?

At the end of the day, it's just a sloppy plot hole and not a thought provoking device meant for fans to ponder on.

Why are you trying to ruin other people's fun?

O.o

I found a website that actually sells the biocable: http://biothread.webstarts.com/ It's $900 a bottle(which I think is a rip off). Anyway, I think Peter made the webbing from scratch. I think he used Richard parker's notes, and used it to make them. Like in the ultimate spider man comics, richard was working on a molecular adhesive, aka, webbing. I think he uses his fathers notes on the biocable, the only modifications he made was making them into pellets and adding a chemical to loosen the fibers to shoot a mist. If I'm wrong, it was probably given to him as a gift from dr. Connors for helping him with lizard regeneration formula.

Website isn't real, Peter obviously buy's bio-cable from OsCorp, seeing as there is a box of the stuff with the oscorp label on it in his bedroom.

Eh... so?

Why ruin other people's fun? I get enjoyment out of speculations, it's why I enjoy plot holes.

I don't think plot holes are to be enjoyed, but whatever. Not sure that the mystery of the Webbing is to be considered a plot hole though.

I don't think it's a plot hole either, but what most people deem as plot holes I don't see how they're plot holes, just things to speculate about.

So yea, I wasn't using my definition of plot hole when I said that I enjoy plot holes.

This isn't a plot hole. Why does anyone think this is a plot hole?

Usually the people who didn't enjoy this movie as much as others are the ones saying this is a plot hole.

Either their looking for things to nitpick about or the ones who liked the movie are just defending something that is a plot hole.

Take your pick, I don't really care.

After watching the movie, he definitely bought the biocable. It was already being mass produced anyway.

So, anyone have any ideas on how Peter would develop Spider-tracers in the second film if they choose to do so?

I thought the ad in Oscorp said that each cartridge contained 'several thousand meters' of Bio-Cable? Or did I mishear something?

I was wondering, does anyone know if there was an early design of the web shooter that wasn't used in the final film but was used early on, because there does exist a set photo with said shooter:

Hundreds, actually.

The ad was on in the internet (in the movie) by the way, Peter was watching it.

Stolen, not bought. From outside Oscorp, tis' not.

Nah, I'm pretty sure he bought it off the internet.

bought it off the internet in bulk, used a fake name, sent to P.O. Box, researched the ingredients, studied the substance, refills the cartridges himself.

He could get his hands on some GPS technology and tweak it.

It would be a shame to think Peter was able to sneak into OsCorp a second time, but with this time, not having to go under a fake identity to do so and then steal the biocable. One must imagine the poor quality of security if one were to believe that Peter snuck into OsCorp a second time, lol.

My guess would be he bought it.

People.

The movie showed him opening an official package from and labeled "Oscorp".

Why is this even a discussion?

Then the question remains whether or not it was stolen or bought. Being that he unofficially became an intern at Oscorp, he could have easily stolen a packaged box of bio-webbing from the facility.

Really?

Well then.....

No. He bought. I highly doubt he stole them.
