This means we can get a comic book and/or a "Legend of Zelda history" styled book of the Witcher universe. I hope it's the latter. The Witcher games have tons of creative concept art and tons of lore.

Ugh. I'm trying to stay away from any Witcher related media as the game is sooo far out and there is NOTHING that'll change my opinion on snagging the game day one. I hope there is a bomb ass collectors edition.

The Witcher was the main character in a series of fantasy novels before the games were made. You might check those out for lore and such.

Yes i am aware, but Dark Horse has released books like "Legend of Zelda" and "Dragon Age" books. Witcher lore book with high production concept art from the game series could be easy $$$$.

No release date. Not even a window really. Think they are "shooting" for 2014 but CD Projekt is a "it's done when it's done" kinda dev team.

No not even close. You'll laugh when you compare the Witcher 3 to Killzone. NBA 2K14 looks better than Killzone.

Im sure plenty of future titles will end up looking better than KZ but as it stands, this game isn't out yet so it doesn't matter. My point is that there are titles out now which are showcasing next gen tech and you just listed another. Both look much better than what is currently available on the current (or should that now be last gen) consoles. Huge difference and not merely average looking games with higher textures like some of the crossplatform games out there(ACIV, Im looking at you)

Not only graphically but The Witcher 3 will probably be the first title to really showcase what next gen consoles can do in terms of huge open world gameplay, the variety of different things that we will be able to do and just how damn good it looks

These current titles are really only showcasing prettier visuals(and yea some sound and network features otherwise impossible) but it's really just the pretty graphics that are the showcase. The Witcher 3 will, undoubtably be the game that showcases MUCH more. It'll show why these consoles were necessary in order to create this vast living world.

That is impossible with the Witcher 3. If they were to do that the game would be COMPLETELY different and it's why they didn't even entertain the idea of putting this game on the WiiU, 360 or PS3. Those last gen consoles would force them to completely abandon their vision.
