The Wonder Twins: A Maya and Alejandro discussion thread.

I'm not sure exactly what their power is but I now It's freaking awesome.

So I wanted to make a thread discussin their powers and place in the story that is HEROES.

I wasn't expecting just this kind of apprecation or discussion for the characters, but yea I agree she's Hot.

Well someone mentioned in another thread that in an iterview it was said that their powers only work together.

So at this point I'm speculating that he can only heal those She harms and even then it has to be within a certain time period as we saw tonight.

It looks like Maya causes death (darkness) and Alejandro brings life (light). Very Cloak and Dagger (Marvel), reverse sex.

So they both have powers, only Alejandro's abilities work in conjunction with Maya's. He appears to 'take it in'.

The Wonder Twins are my fav characters on the show thus far, myself. I think they have the most interesting powers of the whole cast. I also like the Cloak and Dagger reference. It seems to be like Alejandro can only negate Dania's "plague," and not act as a general healer...I like him better as only being able to cure Dania's plague...makes their powers more interesting.

I think the 2 are unrelated, as Mohinder has already been revealed as the virus cure.

Interesting point. It would really force Dania to get control if she no longer had Alejandro. I can see that happening.

They should give Mr. Muggles a power...then he can be this version of the Wonder Twins' monkey...

I seem to be in the minority, but they don't interest me that much yet. Maybe as their plot becomes more centralized they will.

I'm gonna be honest, these character's aren't really doing anything for me. Maybe it's too early to tell, but these two seem to be the new Nikki. I find myself not caring in the slightest and almost want to fast forward past their scenes.

Hopefully they end up tying into the main plot soon. That was always Nikki's problem, she rarely interacted with the rest of the characters.

I actually dispise these two. They are the worst addition to the show so far. Obviously we haven't seen much. But I'm already sick and tired of listening to Maya moan and whine whenever alehandro is not around. I get it, her power sucks. But I'm sick of listening to people lament endlessly in spanish. I don't want to see anymore of them, from what I've already seen

I agree they really bore me. Hell even Parkman is more intresting than these two so far.

I hope that Maya learns to control her "power" eventually and not be too dependant on Alejandro. I think Alejandro's healing power is quite interesting.
