The worst minsconceptions that people can have about you

It was a she, actually, and considering her taste in movies I'm sure she thought Forrest Gump was beneath her. :whatever:

Ahhh...one of those, huh? I wouldn't let her get to you. Snobs will be snobs.

People think that I'm human. :o

For a long time,I always thought that your nickname danoyse was actually your real name,it didn't occur to me until a couple of days ago that is wasn't.

On the Hype: Probably that I'm a film snob since I tend to lean towards films that fit into the cinema in a capital C category, and don't care much for action films. Not true really, I just don't enjoy 'lower brow' films as much as 'higher brow' films (though I still like plenty of them, and watch more mainstream and less arty films quite a bit).

In real life: Apparently several people I know, including family, think I do a lot of hallucinogenic drugs on a constant basis. I tried to set the record straight (though I think there's still some who believe it). It's not really a bad thing or anything to me, I just don't use them that much...and I don't know how it started that I was really big into that, doing crazy stuff several times a week by myself to experiment 'expanding my mind', stuff like that. I apparently 'come off like that', I was told once, whatever that means.

I frequently get told I don't look 25. People think I'm in high school.

I'm pushing 30 and people keep assuming I'm not old enough to drink. I was an education major in college and had a clinical at a junior high school. While waiting outside the principals office to speak with my teacher mentor, the principal thought I was a student waiting to see him. I was 20 and he thought I wasnt in high school yet.

people i know tell me if they didn't know me better they would think i was always on something whenever i talk. also people think i have a brittish accent but that's not really bad, just odd to me.

but worst misconception sum1 can have about u is that ur a pedo-cerial killing cannible nazi who's some how a virgin and a ****e.

Not to mention the gender thing...

Women telling me that they think I'm scared of them because I'm just measured in what I say and not all up in your face like other blokes. :oldrazz:

People think that because I'm a big guy, and rarely smile, that I'm always ready to fight. Let's be honest, I don't smile/laugh if I don't know you, and I don't fight. At all.

Get ahold of the dvd of 'Gymkata', a so bad it's good martial arts movie, there is a section in the movie where the hero travels through a section of town called 'the Village of the Crazies' where they put all the criminally insane people. Next time you are experimenting with 'expanding your mind' please watch this section of the movie, in fact watch all of the race that the participants enter, in fact watch the whole movie, but that sequence in particular.
Your mind should get a little stretch from that.

Herp,Derp,Derp Derp Derp Derp Derp. Not you, them.

I feel the same way as you do when it comes to dudes, but I would replace number 3 with the fact that I think girls are more acceptable than dudes,in general, but you gotta watch out for those girls who think that you automatically want to get in their pants(just because you're not fond of being pals with guys in general) down the road, taking themselves a bit too seriously they are. :whatever:
Lol whats with the herp durp stuff? lol

And no, trust me, these arent girls i just met or anything or think like that. These are girls who really know me and I can really be myself around. And its not like they odnt know i find some of them attractive, ive told one of my best friends countless times(my cousins gf) that shes hot, but its not in the ''OMG I want to do you!!!!'' but im not blind to her attractiveness and she is totally cool with that.
And yeah, girls are alot more accepting and easier to talk to IMO. Like with her, Ive only known her for maybe a little over a year and shes now one of my best friends and Im alot closer to her and she knows me better than my cousin does, who is her boyfriend.

I would take at least the first part as a compliment. The other part,

I had my ID checked at an R-rated movie. When I was 28.

^Lol something like that happened to one of my cousins. Shes training to be a teacher and she was a Student teacher at a catholic high school where they wear uniforms and she said a teacher stopped her once in the hall and asked her where her uniform was hahaha.

People seem to think I am a hipster, which isn't the case but they still don't think anything else.

For some reason, people keep thinking I'm a man named Haris.
