The Worst TV Characters

Cornell on Secrets and Lies.

Good God, it's like Juliette Lewis just wanted to show the world how bad of an actress she can be.

I can't stand Crowley from Supernatural.

I didn't mind him in seasons 5 and 6, but now this character is getting very redundant and getting tired, since he does the same flip flopping s*** all the time.

Naevia on Spartacus once she was recast. She became annoying and was like all of a sudden the most badass warrior woman of all time, striking down legions of Roman soldiers.

Spartacus seriously went downhill after Andy Whitfield died. The new guy tried his best, but just couldn't fill his shoes. At all.

The other recasts certainly didn't help either.

Ted Mosby. By far the whiniest of all TV characters I have ever myself watched. I liked HIMYM, I really did, but by like season 4 I just stopped watching. The supporting cast just could not mask just how annoying Ted Mosby was.

If I worked with Ted Mosby, he would be the guy I would want to punch in the face every time I saw them instead of the other guy I work with that I really want to punch in the face.

Wes Crusher ~ STNG

Michelle Tanner ~ Full House

The entire cast of Friends

Barbara Keen From Gotham.

She is one of the reasons why I stopped watching that show, what the hell is she?

An amalgam character of Kate Kane and Barbara Gordon?

Barbara is just there to be the typical love interest for the lead, and she is a poorly written one in deed.

Yeah, Barbara really is awful. But to be fair, ALL the characters on that show are poorly written and most are poorly acted. The only ones I like are the Penguin and the Electrocutioner.

STNG Wesley centered and Troi centered episodes were the worst

Most people hated Dawn on 'Buffy', but I disliked Tara. She was just so dull. I felt like I might fall asleep every time a scene centered on her. It's harsh but I was happy when she was killed off.

Kate and Jack, Lost.
Spike, Buffy.
Joey, Friends.
Sark, Alias.
Felicia Day, in anything.

'Lost' from most annoying to less annoying (but still really annoying): Ana-Lucia, Kate, Clare, Michael, Nikki & Paulo, Shannon, later season whiney Locke, Jacob.... for such a good show, there sure were a lot of annoying characters.

Naevia on Spartacus once she was recast. She became annoying and was like all of a sudden the most badass warrior woman of all time, striking down legions of Roman soldiers.

Say what? She became a decent fighter at best, she was never shown to be a great warrior or striking down multiple opponents.

Sure she did, by the final season she was at least as capable as the lower-level gladiators. Not that I minded, she was trained directly by Crixus and probably picked a few bits and pieces up from the top fighters as well. It made sense, but I do remember a good portion of people disliking Naevia when the show was still on air.

Not sure if I mentioned these yet, but EVERY character introduced in the second season of Heroes. I always hear this argument that the show wouldn't have sucked after season one if Tim Kring had stuck to his original plan of having each season feature a whole new cast of characters. One problem with that theory: the new characters he introduced in season two SUCKED. Adam the Indestructible *****e, the Wonder Death Twins, Photographic Memory Girl and Flying Pretty Boy all needed to fall into a sarlacc pit. I think the second season also got affected by the writers' strike, so maybe that played a part in how horrible these characters were. Nevertheless, they still all f***ing sucked.

Adam was cool, everyone else I agree with you on.

But I think the thing is, they were creating characters to be supporting to the characters that were already in play. If they had to wipe the slate clean and give us a brand new main cast, I'm reasonably sure things would've been done differently.

It's possible, but I still wonder if they would have just given us the same group of losers, only we would have gotten MORE of them.

That said, I'm holding out hope for this new Heroes series. My hope is that the only way they were able to convince NBC to pick it up again is because they've got something REALLY good up their sleeve.

If nothing else, Zachary Levi should be good in the new Heroes show, simply because he's Zachary Levi.

Heroes, like Glee and Dexter, went spectacularly off the rails in its later seasons. It should have been a one season mini since they obviously had no idea where to go with it after the first season (durrr.... let's bring back Sylar for the fifth time).

every person on Glee got on my nerves except for Jane Lynch's character... all the kids I just wanted to knock out, they were so irritating... Sue Sylvester got it right, LOL...

and Teri Hatcher's character of Lois on Lois and Clark, alng with that sloot, Cat Grant...

and Jimmy Olsen was a little prick, too...

Jon Kavanaugh on The Shield.

That show was absolutely perfect until it turned into "Let's try and win Forest Whitaker an Emmy." It went right into the toilet after that. Many will disagree with me on this, but I still think the series finale was one of the worst of all time. It made me wish I quit watching the show after season 4.

Also, Dutch and Claudette became unbearable, sanctimonious a**holes in the last couple seasons. I wanted Vic to just f***ing shoot them.

The bold part above is the only thing I don't disagree with to a wild degree :oldrazz:

I loved The Shield. Julian on the show annoyed me. I just didn't find him interesting. I had no problem with the character being gay either, but the subplot of him coming to terms with it felt forced and shoehorned in. And like I said, just not interesting. And then the actor murdered someone in real life, so there's that too I guess. :o

Vic's wife, whatshername, kinda annoyed me too.

I don't get the hate for Whitaker's character. Thought Kavanaugh was the ****. A perfect foil for Mackey.

I want to punch her in the face every time she's on screen. Can't stand her character.
