I'm not sure how I feel about MITB... I hate that Kane helped Rollins.. He should have won clean. Other than that it was just boring.. In don't even hate that Cena won as I know he's not holding te title long.. But still...

I liked it to be honest. Of course I'm biased because it makes Ambrose look really good LOL.

My take is Cena holds the belt feuds with the authority. Probably holds the belts until Rollins cashes in after Orton and Kane beat him down.
Brock wouldn't work with The Authority and they are the current story line. Either Bryan wins the titles back from Rollins or from Cena.

But LORD, cant The Authority storyline end by Summerslam? I mean...we KNOW that Brock is coming back for SS...so cant we do away with the "corrupt authority figure" story in the next month or so and then move to a "Paul Heyman runs wild" story with Brock and Cesaro?

I heard the PPV was pretty good. I just got home a little while ago from my trip but I'm really looking forward to the replay. I was keeping tabs with the Bleacher Report app on my phone.

Sucks to hear about Bryan. Another surgery.....christ.....:( I hope he can bounce back at 100%.

Wait.. Are people saying it's pretty good? Everywhere I go people seem to hate it.. And not just because Cena won.

Please. It should have ended with Bryan. Now I feel they're gonna redo it only with Ambrose and Rollins.

It's crazy to think Cena is one title reign away from tying Flair for World Title reigns.

It was a solid show. I'm know people get ******** every time Cena wins, but c'mon.

Bryan having so many struggles does sadden me. He was on top of the world at WrestleMania....... I just hope he shows everyone he can still be a top guy upon his return.

It's the only time I agree with Cena winning. I don't want to see Bray, Reigns or Cesaro have a 2 month title reign to drop it to Lesnar. It would kill them in the long run.

I personally had the wins taken out of my sails when Kane came out and helped Rollins. Seriously I loved that match.. Then that happened. Kane kills everything.

Rollins winning with Kane's help makes sense given that he's a heel. Why does a heel have to win clean? And Kane being an enforcer for The Authority is a perfect role for him at this stage of his career.

I've said that same exact thing only to have a return with "a part timer shouldn't hold the title anyway."

It just killed the match for me.. I'm cool if he cheats.. But I'm sick of seeing Kane on tv .. Period. Kane has been dated since.. The mid 2000's.

When I heard about the Kane run it, I was fine with it. They're using him as a tool to get Rollins the win over Ambrose. Now if they pushed an Ambrose/Kane feud, I'd be pissed but I don't think they're going to. I'm sure we'll see a match between them tomorrow.

I was surprised to hear about the Uso's retaining. I think that's just the WWE classic bait and switch to avoid being totally predictable in one night. I bet there's a rematch tomorrow night with The Wyatts winning the gold.

I didn't see any reason to hate this show. If there are a lot people that did then whatever. WWE did some good stuff tonight. People don't think about the little things sometimes. MITB was more good than bad, and Cena being a placeholder doesn't change that. Nothing was really bad enough to dwell on.

You are right. A heel does not need to win a lousy briefcase cleanly. The only time a heel needs to win clean is when it's for a title and they are trying to be established as a major threat. For example, I fully expect Rusev to win his first singles title cleanly.

I think that Lesnar's matches since he came back have been much better than the Rock's return matches. Plus he has the big win over Taker, you really can't let something like that go wasted.

also I'd just like to throw this out there..

"the wrestling thread is getting fed to Lesnar at SummerSlam."

Triple H should have clapped when Cena won. He then should have went on RAW and tried to bring Cena into the fold. He's everything a corporation would want representing them. It's funny that a COO doesn't want Captain Wonder Bread in the top position. I mean he's Mr. Make A Wish, c'mon.

that's actually a good point :woot:

I figured Cena or Orton would win. He's just a place holder champ anyway. More time to build up Regins, Wyatt, Cesaro, etc.
