So I wonder how people can act like Punk's the biggest ass in the world just because he left and couldn't tolerate the B.S. Anymore.

- He didn't get people fired for rejecting sexual advances (Batista)

- He didn't get people buried and/or fired for hurting his shoulder (Orton).......matter of fact Punk would try to work through the injuries Ryback would give him

- He didn't no sell someone for the sole purpose of being an ass (Rick Steiner, Warrior, Hogan and Bruiser Brody)

- He never tried to get anyone buried so he can stay on top (The Kliq)

- He tried to fight for guys backstage that he felt weren't being used right like Ziggler, Kofi, Cesaro, Beth Phoenix etc or atleast speak up on their behalf.

And most of the time despite his more "mean" disposition, he's usually cordial to his fans at Comic-Con, autograph signings or even twitter where he thanks his fans.....

The guy, in a sense, is a lot like Eminem....thankful for the fans he gained over time but that doesn't mean he wants them stalking him all the time.

Not even close to the biggest jerk in wrestling or the biggest jerk in the entertainment indu

On a brighter note, apparently we are getting a new theme song for Raw tonight.

So far NXT and Main Event's theme songs are the easiest on the ears IMO.

I'm digging both promo videos but Dolph man, I just love the way Dolph talks about that IC title. He deserves so much more but I think he can do something great with this title and if WWE books it right, he would restore it's prestige.

I hope he still has the title when Barrett comes back and they can feud over it. In the meantime, WWE should wake up and let Cesaro chase the title. Maybe build to a triple threat at Mania with Dolph, Barrett, and Cesaro.

Also, is there a timetable for Barrett's return? I don't remember how long it's been and I don't know how long it usually takes to recover from that injury.

Just because he wasn't obligated to stay, doesn't change the fact that he quit. And I highly doubt that "I'm not getting my way" would be considered a very good reason for someone who wasn't an IWC darling. If it was someone like Randy Orton or Sheamus fans would rip them.

Considering the apparent shape of Punk's body and the reports from many that he was burned out, I don't think it was a "I am not getting my way" sort of thing. At that point he wasn't feeling his direction, was/is in a lot of pain and couldn't muster enough want. So he left. There is nothing wrong with that.

I think that had to do more with the fans being solidly behind Bryan and refusing not to be, and significantly less with Punk sitting at home.

Bryan said on Jericho's podcast that he believes Punk's departure is a major reason he received his push.
