@The broom stuff. :lmao:

Top candidates:

Iron Mike Sharpe
S.D. "Special Delivery" Jones
Rene Goulet
Barry Horowitz
Jose Luis Rivera
Salvatore Bellomo
Johnny Rodz
Steve "Brooklyn Brawler" Lombardi
Jim Powers
Paul Roma

The bolded 2 were my jobbers, I remember Horrowitz getting a mini push in 95 though. :D

Did Paul Roma descend into full jobberdom?

Yep how can one not love an era that gave us an Iron Match between Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar for free. The title even changed hands that night.
It was a great balance of storylines and wrestling. Starting to get a feel of that again now, but WWE had a better overall roster back in 2002 - 2006.

The Ruthless Aggression era (specifically Smackdown) had some great matches/rivalries.Raw was a bit of a mess, but still fun overall. The roster was pretty stacked.

I actually think its better to have a pool of viable top guys as opposed to a few guys that keep the World/WWE title picture in a chokehold. One thing I loved about Ruthless Aggression.

One thing I still to this day despise about WWE in 2003 was the over-saturation of the McMahon family all throughout the year.

Balls WOULD job to a broom. *DDP voice* And that's a good thing!

And then Nikki Bella would sleep with the broom to help her career, Randy Orton would pee on the broom as a prank, and TNA would sign the broom because it used to be in the WWE.

The Raw tribute show for the broom was going okay until Stephanie McMahon's interview segment where she compared the broom's death to the time she got a lot of hate mail on September 14, 2001.

Don't forget that the broom was a second generation superstar to the late, great Moppy.

Oh agreed. That made it hard to enjoy Smackdown for an unnecessarily long period of time.

agreed.Even though RAW did have the Triple H problem of over saturation for awhile. That reign of Terror was too much.

Unfortunately, Moppy's active career was all spent in the old southern territories and Japan, so the WWE doesn't recognize it.,

Yep and it made me look forward to watching Smackdown on Thursdays that much more lol. Smackdown was easier to appreciate because of that.

I almost dreaded watching RAW sometimes especially after a PPV.The show would almost always start with Triple H giving some long winded speech about overcoming the odds.I don't know who is/was worse him or Cena. Then there was Jeff Jarrett's reign of terror in TNA.Looking back there are some title reigns I just cannot stand.

How did you feel about JBL's title run?

I didn't hate his as much I kinda liked it.Maybe because he didn't bore like the others.Same thing with Punk's reign (which I loved). The others not so much.

Jeff bogarting the title in TNA made some sense, as, if I recall correctly, they were running without signing all their wrestlers, so the surefire way to make sure no one screws the company over is to keep in on the man who started it.

Man...I remember being so mad that during the whole summer of 2004, I couldn't catch UPN and was missing Smackdown from Summer 2004 to Spring 2005 because I was living in a McAllen, Texas apartment complex that couldn't catch it until I moved back to Louisiana.

Conveniently though, It was just in time for when Orton turned heel again for Wrestlemania 21 and his subsequent transfer to Smackdown.

He'd tell you otherwise.

He'd also mention that the reason he didn't become a main eventer was because Ric Flair was jealous of him.......However he wont tell you that Arn Anderson carried him in their Horseman tag team though.

You can see it even now. To this very day Flair is jealous of Roma. Roma has everything Flair doesn't! Respect! Money! Women! Talent! CHAMPIONSHIPS!

He's being kept out of the WWE Hall of Fame because Flair is in Haitch's nose ear about it!

Confession: I enjoyed Roma as half of the Young Stallions. He lost me after they split, though...didn't care for him with Herc in Power & Glory. And he was dead to me when WCW had the audacity to insert him into the Horsemen.

I liked Power and Glory, well, liked hating them. Hercules was cool to watch with that chain of his.
