Barry O reference ftw! Now I just need to find a way to work Iron Mike Sharpe into the conversation. WWE need to have a jobber wing in their HoF when they build one. :o

Top candidates:

Iron Mike Sharpe
S.D. "Special Delivery" Jones
Rene Goulet
Barry Horowitz
Jose Luis Rivera
Salvatore Bellomo
Johnny Rodz
Steve "Brooklyn Brawler" Lombardi
Jim Powers
Paul Roma

Balls WOULD job to a broom. *DDP voice* And that's a good thing!

And then Nikki Bella would sleep with the broom to help her career, Randy Orton would pee on the broom as a prank, and TNA would sign the broom because it used to be in the WWE.

Looking back on the pre-Cena era Ruthless Agression, Am I the only one that feels that, despite Raw being solid and having most of the top guys like Michaels, Jericho, HHH, Christian, Kane, Booker T, Flair, Orton, Batista, Mick Foley, RVD, Goldberg and a great divas division, Smackdown was still the better show storyline and match quality wise? It also didn't hurt that talented acts like Edge, Angle, Lesnar, Eddie, Mysterio, Undertaker, Benoit, Thuganomics Cena (his promos were hilarious), and a healthy cruiser weight division.

Yes, I really enjoyed both shows but Smackdown was a tad bit better.

The Ruthless Agression Era was VERY underrated(Especially Smackdown)IMO,My personal favorite WWF/E era since the Golden Era.

WWE in the last 2 of 3 months has reminded me so much of the Ruthless era and that is a great thing for me!

In the Pre-Cena era, I preferred Smackdown a lot more because it didn't have Triple H's shovel ruining things. Until Batista, no one had the title for more than hundred days, and only Golldberg had it for more than 30 days. :oldrazz:

Classic Ruthless Aggression Era Tag Team match: http://youtu.be/unVVKQyHpCk

Paul Heyman's booking and emphasis on the "Smackdown 6" was great stuff.

Lets also not forget that we get a one hour Iron Man Match between Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar for the WWE title......for FREE. Lol

Unfortunately, the broom was found dead in a hotel room, face down in a puddle of vomit, at the age of 39.

Who's that guy that was tag teaming with Kurt Angle? I don't recall him ever being a part of the WWE. Or ever even existing, for that matter.

The Raw tribute show for the broom was going okay until Stephanie McMahon's interview segment where she compared the broom's death to the time she got a lot of hate mail on September 14, 2001.

Gotta agree here. They best era to watch for me was Ruthless Aggression. Still look back fondly on many of the matches and stories from that time.

When I google'd "Crispen Wah" I found this, but all I see is Eddie Guerrero.

The Ruthless Aggression era (specifically Smackdown) had some great matches/rivalries.Raw was a bit of a mess, but still fun overall. The roster was pretty stacked.

Yep how can one not love an era that gave us an Iron Match between Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar for free. The title even changed hands that night.

I kind of wanna watch Angle vs Lesnar from Smackdown 2003 right now...
