Is the Bryan & Punk vs The Wyatt's match a handicap match or just some lame 2 on 2 deal? either way it blows, it should have been 6 on 6. :csad:

WWE Main Event Spoilers 11/13/13

- Natalya def. AJ Lee via Disqualification in a Divas Championship match. Due to the DQ result, AJ retains her title. The finish came when Tamina Snuka interfered in the match, which prompted the DQ-ruling. Tamina did a run-in just as Natalya had the Divas Champion locked into the Sharpshooter submission hold. After the match, AJ put Natalya in her Black Widow submission hold.

- Justin Gabriel def. Tyson Kidd via a turnbuckle roll-up. Kidd teased a heel-turn after the match, but the two ended up shaking hands instead.

- 3MB Union Jacks def. The Prime Time Players. Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre represented 3MB in the match, with Jinder Mahal in their corner. R-Truth was in the corner of The Prime Time Players. Slater and McIntyre picked up the victory over Darren Young and Titus O’Neil when Slater pinned O’Neil following a corkscrew splash.

Totally agree. How WWE doesn't see that's just a plain Raw main event match is beyond me.

Ugh WWE.com just revealed Punk and Bryan vs The Wyatts for Survivor Series. They NEED to make that last minute change for a 6 on 6 match after that great Raw ending last night. If WWE wants Survivor Series to have good PPV buys give fans something interesting and worthy of a PPV like Survivor Series.

With that said....I'll be amused to see who they blame when Survivor Series flops this year.

Feel free to direct reply to this with some candidates of your own. This includes any match with The Rock, HHH, Hogan, Cena, Stone Cold etc. All of the "spectacle" wrestlers over the years that have wrestled matches out of their usual shticks that they are popularly associated with.

(SPOILERS) WWE SMACKDOWN TAPING RESULTS FROM MANCHESTER, ENGLAND

- The main event of this week’s edition of WWE SmackDown was announced to be CM Punk and Daniel Bryan vs. Ryback and Curtis Axel.

- The Wyatt Family def. The Usos via pinfall. The finish came when Luke Harper scored the pin on Jey Uso for the victory.

After the match, Bray Wyatt hit his Sister Abigail finisher Uso. Bray followed that up by cutting a promo on CM Punk and Daniel Bryan, who will be the Survivor Series opponents of his Wyatt Family members.

- Backstage, Curtis Axel and Ryback are shown talking. Ryback said he would not team up with Axel tonight if he is still a “Paul Heyman Guy.” Axel tells Ryback that he isn’t. The segment wrapped up with Axel telling Ryback that they should take their collected frustrations out on Punk and Bryan later tonight.

- The Prime Time Players and R-Truth were shown backstage. All three guys were rapping together.

- Natalya def. Tamina Snuka via submission. The finish came when Tamina accidentally collided with WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee on the apron, which led to Natalya catching her in the match-ending Sharpshooter.

- The Prime Time Players & R-Truth def. 3MB Union Jacks via pinfall. The finish in this one came when Truth hit Heath Slater with his Lie Detector finisher. Titus O’Neil was super-over with the fans in Manchester throughout this entire match.

- John Cena def. Alberto Del Rio in the Arm Wrestling Challenge. Cena actually had a great, mostly positive response from the fans in the Phones 4u Arena. Both guys cut promos regarding their upcoming match for the World Heavyweight Championship at the WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view.

Cena won the first Arm Wrestling Challenge in under a second, and followed that up by winning the Arm Wrestling Challenge immediate rematch just as fast. After the Arm Wrestling concluded, Del Rio attacked Cena. Despite trying to fight back, Cena ended up getting slammed through the Arm Wrestling table by Del Rio. After the beatdown, Del Rio laid his t-shirt across Cena’s fallen body.

- The Funkadactyls def. The Bella Twins in Divas tag-team action. This was likely filmed for the Total Divas reality show on E!. The finish here came when Cameron pinned Brie in a match that was kept relatively short.

- Backstage, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan cut a promo on The Wyatt Family and their upcoming tag-team match against Luke Harper and Erick Rowan at the Survivor Series pay-per-view on November 24th.

- The Great Khali def. Hunico & Camacho in a Handicap Match. The finish came when Khali hit the Punjabi Plunge in what was a very quick match.

- CM Punk & Daniel Bryan vs. Ryback & Curtis Axel ended in a No Contest. The finish came when Bryan had the “Yes! Lock” applied on Ryback, only to have interference from The Wyatt Family.

When the lights came back on, Punk and Bryan had mysteriously vanished. Ryback pushed Axel into The Wyatt Family, so they beat both of them down and threw them out of the ring and onto the floor. Then, from out of nowhere, Punk and Bryan re-emerged from under the ring. The two each landed a dropkick on Harper and Rowan and bailed out to the top of the ramp.

That concludes this week’s WWE SmackDown television taping.

The taped episode from the U.K. narrowly avoided being the lowest-rated Raw of the past month, topping a 2.71 rating on October 21 leading into the Hell in a Cell PPV.

- Raw averaged 3.768 million viewers, down three percent from last week's show. It was the fewest viewers since October 7.

Hourly Break Down: 3.867 million first hour viewers, decline to 3.834 million second hour viewers, and six percent decline to 3.603 million third hour viewers.

Ugh......Sadly nothing was really that good until the very main event so that isnt as surprising especially since the Third hour had Ryback and R-truth, and ADR vs Big E to start it off.

Obviously ratings were down because Triple-H wasn't there. Duh.

Seriously, they can't be so blind to not see the 12-man tag THEY ALREADY SET UP. It's not like we're asking them to change their whole booking plans. It's a match that makes logical sense. In fact, I'd say anything else DOES NOT make sense.

Everyone involved in that match.

Hunter and Vince probably hate them all.......

I'm hoping he at least likes Luke Harper and especially Roman Reigns

He loves Roman Reigns. After Wrestlemania, he's going to be pushed to the moon.

I think Antonio Cesaro or Big E will be given bigger pushes before Reigns But I sure hope he is eventually pushed pretty hard

As reported earlier, AJ Styles denied online reports that WWE has offered him a contract with the company. According to a report by Raj Giri of WrestlingINC.com, Styles' claims are true and the company is not interested in signing TNA talent.

Triple H was asked why would he want to sign Styles' to the company when they already have a handful of their own high flyers. Bobby Roode and Samoa Joe were also deemed as good hands, but the company is looking to develop their own talents at the WWE Performance Center.

Styles, whose contract was originally set to expire next month, is believed to have already signed a new contract with TNA Wrestling.

Details on New HBK DVD

Source: WrestlingDVDNews.com

WWE is currently working on a new DVD/Blu-Ray collection featuring the "Heart Break Kid" Shawn Michaels. It has been confirmed that the new project will be titled "Shawn Michaels: Mr. WrestleMania" and will include all 17 of his classic WrestleMania matches. That, of course, includes the WrestleMania XX triple threat match between HBK, Triple H and Chris Benoit for the World Heavyweight Championship. It will be available in the United States on February 11, 2014.

Vince actually okayed a match involving Chris Benoit to be on a new dvd?,And especially one where Benoit wins the world heavyweight title at WM?

I think as long as it isn't advertised/Benoit isn't shown in promotional material, WWE believes it'll fly over the mainstream media's radar.

Totally agree. How WWE doesn't see that's just a plain Raw main event match is beyond me.

I can't believe how bad the Survivor Series card is, it's basically a bunch of rehashed matches and stuff that belongs on Raw.

Hulk Hogan:

vs Tatsumi Fujinami: http://youtu.be/TG2fxzUgB-4

vs Antonio Inoki: http://youtu.be/5Tx5ovz21z4

The thing I found when watching Hogan's Japanese matches is that it's a case of smoke and mirrors. He does a step over armbar take-down and doesn't do the finisher kick-out routine, but if you watch a few in a row you see he does the same match over and over.

Austin in WCW had a very different style to the one we saw when he was Stone Cold. It's in the match with Steamboat and against Dustin Rhodes, Ric Flair, Pillman etc...I have to be honest, I never liked his matches with Benoit much.

HHH:

vs Ricky Steamboat: http://youtu.be/YFARZtw6dUg

vs The Rock (Iron Man Match): http://youtu.be/nJeR3-tKooc

The Iron Man match is Triple H at the peak of his powers as a ring general and a worker, it's Triple H minus props and blood, something we just don't see anymore.

Yep good ole Hulkster relies on formula even in Japan lol. Seriously though I do wonder what would have happened if he used a similar style and had a title match with Bret Hart in WWF....Could it have been like Punk and Cena's matches?

Yeah though I'm sure a lot of people to this day would be hard-pressed to remember that Austin was ever able to put on matches like in the above post and think he just had brawl feats his whole career.

Definitely agree, Meltzer even gave HHH the "Wrestler of the Year" award that year because of how on fire he was.

2004 was another strong workrate year for HHH and he even closed the show with a closely contested Tajiri Match on a Raw that year I think. It was shortly after the draft in the Summer of that year.

He always seemed to give Japanese wrestlers a chance to look good against him without slapping them around the whole time. Tajiri in 2004 and Taka Michinoku in 2000. Would he have done that for KENTA, Okada, or Morishima if he could have got the chance I wonder?

If only he was still the master in the ring that he used to be. :sigh:

He loves Roman Reigns. After Wrestlemania, he's going to be pushed to the moon.

Nothing wrong with that. He has the size that Vince loves, but more importantly, he doesn't suck in the ring.

Cesaro is gonna break something in his body one day in that ring!
