Pancakes likey.

from pwtorch:

This week’s Lucha Underground episode drew the most viewers in the show’s history, continuing to build on momentum from the Aztec Warfare episode two weeks ago.

Lucha Underground drew a combined audience of 234,000 viewers, up five percent from last week. Tuesday’s first-run airing drew 156,000 viewers, which was down slightly from the past two weeks.

The replay then drew 78,000 viewers, the second-most of the season. The bump in replay viewership helped draw the most total viewers in the show’s history.

Awesome news right there!

Damn shame she had to marry CM Punk as that Women's Title would have looked great on her.

What might have been, had her mind not been poisoned against Wrestling by Punk.

What makes you think Punk is the sole reason she left? Or even part of a reason she left? What if she had her own reasons for leaving? What if she wasn't "manipulated"? Just something to think about.

Yeah, but my question would be; does she feel the same way about wrestling as he does?

I'd like to know that. She's not a very vocal person it seems.

I think we, as fans, see the stubborn ******** ways WWE is managed just by watching every week.

CM Punk pretty much confirmed the ******** ways himself and left because of it.

And I'm sure AJ, as his wife and co worker, seen that first hand (the divas weren't treated great either). And made her decision accordingly.

I think it's funny how fans often complain about Punk and call him a selfish quitter yet when certain storylines don't go a certain way they drop the network and threatened to stop watching. It's amusingly hypocritical.

I don't think CM Punk is selfish or quitter. He wasn't getting the career advancement he wanted (and frankly deserved) so he left.

I will say that CM Punk is a HUGE hypocrite for doing the same thing in other industries that he complained about people doing in the wrestling business (showing up as celeb and taking up a spot that should have gone to someone who put in more work).

I can see that. He certainly got his writing jobs and UFC gig thanks to his popularity in WWE.

That's my only issue with CM Punk. He's not the first nor will he be the last person to leave WWE because he felt he wasn't being treated fairly.

I just hate that he clearly has a set of rules for other people that he feels shouldn't apply to him when it comes to something he wants. It's honestly a joke that he's got a spot waiting for him on a UFC card.

I don't see it as a hypocrisy on his part. He was pissed at the company for many reasons one being that big stars are coming in, hell getting booked a year in advance, at the biggest show they have. It's not like Marvel gave him their headlining book or UFC is giving Punk a main event on one of their big shows either. It's not like his name doesn't hold value.

RIP BlackJack Mulligan

He had NO experience as a professional writer.

He has NO background in combat sports.

Getting to write an Marvel book starring a popular character and getting a spot on a UFC card is akin to getting a Wrestlemania spot.

I tend to think of CM Punk as the John Lennon of wrestling. There's no denying his talent and that he brought something very different to the business, and it is up to each individual fan to decide whether to overlook, accept or reject Punk's unwavering belief in his own uniqueness.

CM Punk isn't even the first wrestler to write a Marvel comic. Raven wrote a Spider-Man comic once.

Punk is just a dick. I've never seen someone who thought his **** didn't stink like that guy. Talented in the ring? Absolutely.. As a person? He's worthy if meeting Lucille.

Worthy of dying in a horrible way? Don't think so lol but he is a huge dick and wouldn't mind reading about him getting his ass kicked or if he literally gets broken a bit in a ufc fight.

I don't think the ufc fight will ever happen. I'm sure there are tons of talented comic writers who've been at it for years just waiting to get their break at Marvel.

Anyway I've read and own the one Raven wrote. It's about Crusher Hogan. The guy Spidey wrestled before the movie made him Bonesaw. Which reminds me, Octavia Spencer hasn't aged a day since the first spider man.

Now back to active wrestlers, what do you guess think Baron Corbin ceiling is? U.S. champ? Main events? Mid card destroyer?

That's tough. I'd say Big Show/Kane/Henry level.

Black don't crack :cwink:

Baron Corbin will get a push like Russv had in 2014/2015 only to lose to a major face (probably Reigns) then will be put into goofy storylines and jobbing for months.

This is basically what I see. He'll be the obstacle the face on the rise has to overcome to prove he is ready for the title shot. I also think he'll get a few IC runs, though. As that is basically the tv title now anyway.

Well, remember all those guys got multiple brief main event runs and world titles.

Indeed they did. Henry's run was great IMO.

So would you have Rollins return at Payback in the World Title match?

I would if he was ready but he probably won't be until Summerslam, which would be great since it's the 2nd biggest ppv and at times even better than Wrestlemania
