I'd be happy enough if I was D-Bry too, it could go either way for him, at worst he'll remain in his current role which ain't bad. It could be worse, he could be in Kofi/R Truth territory.

I just hope they drop the Charlie Sheen ****.

waits for WWE to invest in another social media site so that they can beat us to death with nonstop promotions with it on TV.

This could be interesting.....

The following recently came through the official WWE text alert:

"BREAKING NEWS: Mr. McMahon will name the new General Manager of SmackDown at tonight's live event, and there is strong speculation it will be Booker T."

Sadly its looking more clear about how they will book Punk. I had hope at first because what he was saying is what we were saying. Then his parting comments to Cena and his whining later gave me doubts. They'll turn him slow until he devolves into a whiney heel.

I can already picture what Rock says "Its not about what YOU want its about what the people want." Don't see why they can't just have them go at it straight on instead of WWE's usual face/heel dynamic.

...Oh yeah...Punk might actually outclass the Rock and get too many people on his side with straight shooter talk instead of the usual pandering.

It may not be something I want either, but at least Punk is totally fine with being a heel. It feels like it's in Cena's contract that he'll never turn heel.

The Latest on Lesnar vs. Triple H at Summerslam (POSSIBLE SPOILERS)

- Word is that Brock Lesnar's upcoming match against Triple H against SummerSlam will be a one-shot deal, with no rematch planned. At this time, the plan is for Lesnar to win and get his heat back following his loss to John Cena at Extreme Rules.

Barrett was said to be returning after SummerSlam.

And about Lesnar/HHH...[BLACKOUT]I had a feeling Lesnar would win, but I wonder if that means Lesnar will destroy HHH in the match.[/BLACKOUT]

I will say this: WWE must have quite a bit of faith in Daniel Bryan to feature him so heavily, and not just wrestling, but in numerous talking segments. And I think it's a testament to his growing skill in that field that he's managing to be entertaining in some pretty lame skits.

Bryan has showed that if you try hard enough and make the most out of any opportunity given, you could succeed despite any perceived limitations.

I mean he's gotten over tremendously with the WWE crowd. He's proven to be one of the few bright spots in the WWE today. And he's featured pretty prominently on Raw on a weekly basis. I think he's essentially got the Jericho role at this point. And I don't see him ever getting lower than that.

Not too shabby for someone who was buried for over a year with "He's a nerd!"

I sure hope that rumor/report is true!

I'd like that!

Not only do I hope thats true, I hope its just like Batman and Bane's first fight in The Dark Knight Rises, lmao.

Ziggler should come out to 'Cocky' by Kid Rock IMO.
Sadly, even bleeping out the language, you still couldn't make that song PG. Although, I like your idea.

Something else I've been wondering. I know a lot of people here, myself included, are dying to see Cena turn heel. My question is, if you were running things, how would you do it?

Will the build up involve scenes of Triple H shopping for shovels, only to find out Brock bought the last ones?

Complete with Brock snapping Triple H's sledgehammer in two and walking off. :funny:

OK the PC stuff is getting out of hand...

ABRAHAM WASHINGTON NOT THE ONLY WWE STAR TO GET REPRIMANDED TODAY
by Mike Johnson & Steven Fernandes @ 9:08 PM on 7/31/2012

It's been a bad 24 hours to be a heel in WWE. As Dave Scherer wrote earlier today, WWE reprimanded Abraham Washington for making references to the Kobe Bryant rape case on Raw.

Well, Washington now has some company in the doghouse.

Tensai posted a tout where he was driving with Sakamoto to tonight's Smackdown taping. He made a comment saying it is 'very dangerous to drive with a Japanese person'.
When contacted by The Score in Canada, WWE released a statement noting:

"While in character, Lord Tensai (Matt Bloom) clearly took his storyline too far and he will be reprimanded for his inappropriate comments."

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The 7/30 edition of Raw averaged 4,495,000 viewers, well down from the over 6 million that they did for last week's Raw 1000 show. The show did viewership hours of:

8:00 PM 4,064,000
9:00 PM 4,719,000
10:00 PM 4,701,000

PC kills everything....

Anyway.. I hope Brock seriously "ends" Triple H's in ring career.

The rumor sounds great and would tie-in very nicely with[BLACKOUT]Paul Hayman's promos asking IF Triple H wants to get beat that bad and have his career ended [/BLACKOUT]

But then I wonder what will happen with
the characters of Brock&Triple H?,Will Trips be taken out and do a promo on Raw or months after to say that he got beat&destroyed by Brock and doesn't want to fight Brock again cause he made&finished business and Brock is the better man?

Brock will likely say he proved he's still a force and an ass-kicking machine,Triple H wanted the fight and now he got broken again..But then Brock disappears for another month or so then start another mini feud? /

Yeah it is. They're taking themselves way too seriously than a wrestling organization should.

Every now and then he gets it right...of course it will mean **** all when that heat is used just to put over a guy who wrestles once a year. :funny:[/BLACKOUT]

Punk spoke the truth on Raw but this is going the typical route. Theyll turn his pipebombs against him for the most part. I think his heel run might be reminiscent of Austin in 2001. He'll have that same crazed mentality.Perhaps hook up with AJ. It might seem too forced and will probably be over by next summer.
