I'm expecting the ratings for both WWE and TNA to go down dramatically this week since most eyes will be on the Olympics. For me, it will depend what's going to air during the Olympics at the times that WWE and TNA are on.

My goodness I thought we couldn't go any worse than the Spinner, Divas or Tag Team titles, but alas, that NXT championship belt is attrocious.

It is rather lackluster, yes.

John Cena didn't killed Del Rio's push, Del Rio killed Del Rio's push by being a boring ass dude.

Cena had ZERO reason to win the title back. So instead of making Del Rio looking a like a credible champion (he could've been the WWE Champion for at least months), he had another pointless short title reign and even when he dropped it, he didn't bother taking the pinfall to save face.

And people wonder why new stars aren't being made and Del Rio has become difficult to work with because of booking bullsh** like this.

If they felt confident enough to have Del Rio CARRY the title as a top heel he would have. Thats not Cenas fault. Del Rio hasn't been booked the best but what has HE shown to prove he deserves a solid push?

He could have been champ for a long time with plenty of talented guys fed to him and he still would have been boring as f***. WWE obviously likes Del Rio but even they know he's missing something. He's good in the ring and has a cliche heel smirk. And then what? Soon his act wears thin. But some people are sold by little more than a sly grin and think he's suddenly top heel material. It takes more than that.

so, whatever happened to Matt Hardy??

did he get himself cleaned up?

The problem is that once his "destiny" was fulfilled, the gimmick fell flat because he doesn't have the ability to adjust. He also isn't that great on the microphone either. His character is a rich playboy, there are so many possibilities to explore that he just hasn't yet done.

Last I heard he was semi-retired, I think he worked a couple of Indy dates recently. I'm not sure if he cleaned himself up though, I hope so.

Some interesting comments from George The Animal, it's noticeable that a lot of guys from that Hogan era don't seem to care much for Bret.

Has the new ep on NXT aired?

I hope he got cleaned up, too.

I know Jeff's still in TNA and had some heat earlier.......did he clean himself up, too?

So just to start some conversation; what is everyone's opinion on how they play out CM Punk attacking the rock? Personally I don't see them turning him full fledge heel for a number of reasons. He is a legimiate over face next to cena who can come close and/or outsell cena merchandise wise. They have him on the cover of their new video game which is being heavily hyped. They are about to release a DVD on him. The crowd and some kids love him, I think where cena loses the general teen/ adult audience, CM Punk gains them.
I kinda see punk coming out and saying that it's crap the rock just get interjected into a title match at the rumble kinda how he did last year during the pipe bomb promo saying how it's bs. Your thoughts?

Well do you remember what punk said about the Rock last year? He said he was the biggest ass kisser in the WWE and now he kisses ass and gets a title shot right away. Punk has every right to be upset about that. I want to see more Pipebombs galore from him. He also should pipe bomb about how that nothing has really changed when it comes from him being the Champ and him not getting the Main Event because of Cena.

The real question is does he stay as a face like he has become, which IMO was getting a bit stale and he lost his edginess. Go full heel and get feed to the regulars like rock and cena at big matches inevitable to come or tweener? I'm hoping for tweener bc the summer of punk last year was awesome; whenever he got a mic it was a must watch promo bc u never knew what he was going to say... Now It's nothing too special or wow factor. Much better than almost everyone else but not great like before

Apparently, [BLACKOUT]Punk was at a SD house show this weekend and was acting as a face.[/BLACKOUT]
