WWE champion CM Punk giving a promo explaining what happened at the end of Raw 1000 and why he attacked The Rock.

For those who have asked, Kelly Kelly was backstage at Raw 1000 last week but was not used.

Sources within WWE indicate that she has not signed a new, longer-term deal at this point. There were forces within the company pushing to lock Kelly up for an additional five years after PWInsider.com broke that she was starting to do appearances outside of their auspices and taking meetings for potential acting work outside the company.

There were a number of names that were contacted for Raw 1000 last week but in the end, weren't brought in, including Tatanka, Steve Blackman and Big Daddy V. There's a lot of talk about continuing to use older names as there were some internally who believed the Heath Slater storyline and the cameos helped bring back some of the lapsed audience that no longer watches to tune in.

Ric Flair's daughter Ashley has officially reported to WWE developmental. She was signed a few months back but began her training under George South in Charlotte.

Randy Orton is backstage at the Raw taping in Cincinnati and is set to officially return to the company tonight.

If Vince would allow creative to be as is, I can imagine Punk Vs. Rock being a split crowd as Punk would throw some truth into his promos having fans turn against The Rock like how Cena was doing except Punk can do it a lot better.
